"I have been a long-term guest for the past year here at the State House Inn and I have really enjoyed my stay. The staff has been very friendly and very accommodating and go out of their way to make me feel comfortable just to name a few, the general manager, Kayla, front desk, attendants Evernell and Kendra, Pat the director of housekeeping and Mr. David, not sure of his title, but he does it all. They are all super friendly and checking on me constantly. I would definitely recommend the SHI for your next trip to Springfield."

"Our stay was great. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Our room was clean and comfortable. Breakfast and dinner were served as well as free drinks each evening of our stay. The Hotels.com listing said that the hotel had an electric vehicle charging station on site, but there was not a charger at the hotel."

"The aesthetic of the hotel was remarkably well maintained and very charming. It was great driving around the area and being able to pick out our hotel from the surrounding dime a dozen inns and motels. The hotel was kept clean and orderly, the lobby, breakfast hall, hallways, rooms and pool were all cleaned and refurbished frequently. The staff were very helpful, coming to meet our needs from the moment we first checked in to unlocking the pool as the first ones in at 6 in the morning. I’ll take any excuse to stay there again for future trips and strongly recommend you do the same if you’re looking for a comfortable and charming atmosphere. The Chateau wasn’t just a place to rest our heads but also served as a great spot for hanging out alongside the rest of our endeavors for the weekend."
