"I have stayed here several times. Unfortunately the ice machine was not working this time nor a month ago on my last stay and the a/c was not working with nuc temperatures at 80 degrees "

"Great location - particularly for a first time visit to the city - the subway is just a short walk away as is Central Park. The staff were really accommodating- from the receptionists, to the porters and cleaning crew. "

"Check-in took a really long time and they made me pay for my 2 rooms separately. Also, even though the reservation was under my name, every adult had to be present and show ID to get additional keys. Aside from that, hotel was clean, staff was friendly and the breakfast buffet offered a large variety of foods. It was always busy, but the staff managed it well."

"The Belvedere was a good value for the price. Great location in short walking distance to Times Square and Broadway shows, but just far enough that the street isn’t busy with tourists and noise."

"I have travelled the world and this is one of the worse hotels I have ever stayed in. The room was in such a bad state of disrepair. The Shower was broken, large hole in ceiling around the shower head. Toilet seat chipped and toilet didn’t work properly, paint work around bathroom door was tatty and a huge amount of dust in the corner of the door frames, there are no tea or coffee facilities in the room which was small and dark and a noisy generator outside the window. Also tatty torn carpets in hall around the lifts. We asked the receptionist if we could change and she was most unhelpful and advised there was not a room available."
