"Pros: Good AC, hot water, clean, the grounds are beautiful, hot tubs are awesome, hiking trail in property, good breakfast, kind staff. Cons: We paid for a "mountain view" room but did not have a view of anything. Wifi is basically nonexistent and there is barely any cell reception. No interet is a big problem and should be corrected."

"Everything really was perfect about our stay! Lots of nature near by, can see so many birds right outside your porch, they have a breakfast option a la cart if it did not come with your reservation, it’s close to La Fortuna and in the middle of all the good stuff, the waterfall, the spas, the town for dinner, etc. The rooms were spotless too!"

"The property is under construction. The old lodge, and pool area are not there anymore. My wife y I stayed in a villa. It was nice, y had everything that we needed. I would recommend staying there."

"The place is very well laid out, with many accessible trails. However, the meals are expensive compared to other lodges we've visited. The location is excellent for birdwatching; there's a bird feeder installed, which is a real plus. However, the feeder is made of metal rods, which isn't very aesthetically pleasing for photography. It would be beneficial to redesign the feeder to incorporate natural branches, as other lodges do, which would allow for much better bird photos."
