"A really fun place with rooms dating from 1950 to 1968 (we had 1971, with characters from Laugh-in decorating the walls)☺️. Very clean with a surprisingly wide choice of breakfast items."

"Although the hotel is a little run down, it’s Very clean and comfortable and in a great location in Cortez with a pretty mountain view. Fantastic breakfast!! Lots of choices including green chile stew. Staff was very friendly and nice. Nice pool and hot tub in central courtyard and nice outside patio with picnic tables where people can eat takeout food or have a drink. "

"So excited to snag a room at this lodge inside the Mess Verde National Park. The views are amazing. Nice, basic accommodations. The lounge has an outside seating area perfect for enjoying drinks and the views. The restaurant also has great views to go with delicious meals. The trout was amazing. Our server,Brian, did an exceptional job because they were short staffed. This was Oct 2 and the govt shut down had closed the park. We were still able to drive the park and take in the views. Being able to stay there helped soften the blow of not being able to do the Cliff Dwelling tour. "

"Adam, Shelley, the girls & fur children (horses & dogs) hlave created a little piece of Heaven! The views, their land, being close to Cortez, Mancos and getting to see The Grand Mesa from the hot tub was absolutely wonderful! There is everything to make a meal and sit outside by the fire to watch the stars. Ask to buy some of their meat, so good!We so wish we could've stayed longer! Barbara & Eduardo "
