We love this property. We’ve been coming for years and it never disappoints. Cozy, charming, and comfortable with all the amenities, literally a 3 minute walk to the ocean, and pet friendly, the Love Shack is our favorite vacation spot in Folly Beach. Our golden retriever loves the fenced back yard and we love the short trip to Center Street for great food and casual, pet-friendly dining experiences. Fully stocked kitchen, comfortable beds, updated furnishings plus a great deck for listening to the ocean make this a perfect spot to rest and relax at Folly. This property combines the charm of the original 1930s beach cottage with all of the modern conveniences to assure a wonderful experience for furry friends and their humans alike. The new enclosed outdoor shower was an added bonus!
Our golden, Silas, loves the Love Shack and all the attention he got from the dog-friendly dining options.

This house was perfect for our family trip to the beach. Beautiful views, close to the beach, nice fenced in yard for our dogs and not far from a park and shopping. Definitely will stay again.

The perfect Folly staycation!

Great place! Location is walking distance to downtown/pier. View of ocean from deck & just a walk across street to public beach access. Stocked with everything we needed ( except beach towel, but not a big deal). Fenced in yard great for our pup. Gigi keeps the place very clean!

Perfect little house in spot close to town

This is perfect dog friendly property for small family or couple with dogs. There is great fenced in backyard (no picking up poop on the beach) and is only a few blocks from the main drag. It is also right across from beach.

Happiness!

It began with meeting GiGi at the house. She is amazing and informative and a delight to talk to. Followed up with four nights of a wonderful experience. You could see the beach/ocean from the house. The fenced in backyard is amazing. Location is perfect. The house really felt like my home. I would suggest everyone staying here. And my dog got to do her last bucket list trip. And that was heartwarming.

Perfect beach getaway!

Perfect beach getaway. The house is comfortable, well stocked and the fenced yard was great for our dogs. Location couldn't better. Beach is right across the street and it is an easy walk to restaurants and shopping. The owner and Gigi were wonderful to work with. Will definitely be back!

Charming beach bungalow!

We had a wonderful stay here in March. The home has so much character and is very well equipped. We loved sitting on the deck with our dog enjoying the sun. Great location close to the beach and the main strip. Our favorite place we’ve stayed in Folly!

We really enjoyed our stay. The communication was excellent. The place was nice and the fenced in backyard was great for our dog. We walked to the shops and places to eat. The beach is a very short walk. We will definitely stay here again when we visit Folly.

Great visit. Host was extremely accommodating. Perfect size and location. Home was well appointed and tastefully decorated. We left our pups at home but this is a super set up for anyone who wanted to travel with their fur family member. Highly recommend.

A beautiful 2 bedroom cottage with a great ocean view with everything you could ever need at a vacation rental. If you have children it is very convenient for them to play downstairs to have there fun. Hopefully we will be able to stay again very soon

Location & Pet Friendly!

This property is hands down the best we've stayed at in FB. This little gem of a beach cottage has everything; nicely landscaped and fenced in back yard, views of the ocean from the front porch (don't foget the Widows Peak) and a quick walk to the beach. The beds are comfortable, the kitchen nicely appropriated and a gas grill. We were in heaven and will return.

Great cottage and great host

This place has the perfect location right across from the beach. It has a fenced in yard for pets and plenty of parking. I would definitely stay here again. The host was so helpful and responded to all questions immediately. I highly recommend this house for your stay at Folly.

Comfort charm location
