Please note: This property is in a quiet residential community and Folly Beach has a strict noise ordinance violation rule of 1 strike. Simply respect your neighbors, keep the noise down and no parties.

Welcome to Neptune's Folly! This cozy 3 BD/ 2 BA home can accommodate up to 8 guests and is conveniently located across the street from the beach! Relax to the soothing sounds of waves crashing while seated on large front porch, or enjoy a quiet evening gathering indoors lounging in the spacious living room and utilize the fully equipped kitchen perfect for entertaining.

Folly Beach, or as locals refer to it, The Edge of America, is a laid-back, golf-cart-friendly community with many great restaurants, a booming nightlife, plenty of shopping, water activities, and water tours. For more historic exploring, the famous Downtown Charleston is only a 25 - minute car ride, which offers endless fine dining, shopping, historical sites, and more. There is something for everyone here. We promise you will Folly in love with this beautiful island!

You must be at least 25 Years old to rent this home.
Contactless Check-In: This home offers a keyless entry system, and we will provide the code before your arrival date.
There is plenty of parking in the back lot of the house.
We do not provide beach equipment, but anything available at the property is yours to use.
Check-in time: 4 pm. Check-out time: 10 am.
The Folly Beach noise ordinance is from 10 pm to 8 am.
Pets considered. All pets must be approved by our office before you arrive. Upon approval there is a $150 plus tax per pet nonrefundable pet fee that is due before you arrive. If not already on your reservation, it will be added. Once this is done and the fee paid, you will be all set to bring your pet with you (2 pet max, no more than 60 lbs. each, no puppies under 1 year old, no cats). Emotional support animals, comfort animals, and therapy dogs are not service animals under Title II and Title III of the ADA and are subject to approval and fees prior to arrival.
No smoking is allowed in or outside of the house.
House parties, weddings, functions, events, bands, DJs, etc., are prohibited.
The occupancy can be at most 8 people at any time during your stay.
We require 50% payment at the time of booking. The remaining 50% of your balance will be due 30 days before the check-in date, and we will run the card on file. Bookings within 30 days of your arrival date require full payment at the time of booking.

If the noise level exceeds the legal limit for FB, you will receive a friendly reminder text message to turn the noise down. This will help avoid any violations with the FB police that can result in fines and revoke the homeowner's business license.

Suppose the occupancy is misrepresented or a disturbance is reported at the property. In that case, we reserve the right to terminate your rental agreement and will require that you vacate the property immediately without a refund. However, we are committed to your and our community's comfort, so please let us know if we can do anything during your stay to make it more enjoyable.

Perfect get away beach house!

Location is a couple minutes to the beach. Easy drive into center street and food. Great for cooking fresh seafood at home. Spacious well equipment house and kitchen. We will be back!

Perfect house!

This house was in a perfect location--quiet but close to everything! We could see the ocean from the front porch. Plenty of room inside and all we needed for cooking and relaxing!

Perfect Beach Cottage

The views and proximity to the beach were unmatched! Not to mention, being a short 20 minute drive to downtown Charleston–this place offers the best of both worlds. We will be back!

Beach Oasis!

My friends, family and I had an amazing stay at Neptune's Folly. Spacious kitchen, large dining table, huge porch with comfy chairs and ocean view. The bedrooms were large and had comfortable beds. We are already looking forward to our return visit.

Soccer weekend getaway

We were in town for a soccer tournament and stayed here on follys beach! This was the perfect place! We had such a great time! The house is cute and the neighborhood is quite and the beach is right there! We will stay here again!

Little Pink Cottage

Neptune Folly was everything and more. It is an adorable cottage, great area, just steps from the beach. We loved it. The property management was great. Easy check in and good communication. We will be back.

Cute house, great location

The house is right across the street from public beach access, making it extremely convenient. It has a great porch with a slight view of the ocean, which was perfect for my family members who didn’t want to go to the ocean. The house was very cozy and comfortable!

We stayed here during a long weekend for a wedding. It was fabulous! Wonderful house, plenty of space for parking, right by beach access. We will definitely be back!!

Anniversary week

We celebrated our 25th with our friends. It was beautiful and quiet until the smoke alarm went off. Haha we laughed at it as it added to our adventure. The property manager took care of us immediately. We all had a blast.

Birthday get away

We only had a few short days. Folly beach was a really neat place to stay. Get a golf cart to make travel in town easy. We went to Charleston for a day and it wasn’t enough time. Such a beautiful town!! I would recommend a week to see a lot more than we were able to see and do in 3 days!!

Perfect location

Easy beach access. The street came to a dead end one block below us so there was little traffic. House has been remodeled . It was perfect for our family and our golden retriever. We have have found our new favorite Folly rental!

Folly stay

This house is in a great location and Folly Beach was super fun, family friendly and laid back. The beach was right across the street, which made it easy to grab lunch or use the restroom. I would recommend adding a golf cart, if you choose to stay here in peak season, b/c parking at restaurants can be a bit of a bear. the house was clean but could use some updating.

Beach view

Neptune's Folly is an older beach cottage in a great area, just steps from the beach. Spacious kitchen, large dining table, huge porch with comfy chairs and ocean view. They are currently working on a new deck in the back of the house. The bedrooms were large and had comfortable beds. There was a gas grill that we used most nights. It's a short drive/walk to town and there were areas to bike. Parking in town is limited for cars so expect to walk a block or two to get to Center St. The property management was great. Easy check in and good communication. We will be back.

Amazing Place

We had a blast at this wonderful house with a perfect location right across from the beach entrance. We had plenty of room for our family, and the house is 3 blocks from “the washout” surf break, we didn’t get much swell but had a wonderful time with our entire family and our daughter that goes to USC came down with 2 friends to join us for Easter. First time in folly and we plan on coming back! Property management was great and communication was perfect. Highly recommend!

Perfect retreat for the holidays

This house was the perfect getaway for our family for Christmas. Close to beach, comfortable beds, and kitchen really well equipped. The only issues were a weird smell from under the sink when the dishwasher was run. I would highly recommend this house for families especially with pets! Nice dog wash! EXCELLENT EXPERIENCE

ABSOLUTE PERFECTION! THE HOUSE WAS ADORABLE, VERY CLEAN AND HAD EVERYTHING WE COULD HAVE ASKED FOR. THE LOCATION WAS SUPERB - THE VIEWS WERE WONDERFUL. EVERYTHING WAS WITHIN A GOLF CART RIDE AWAY AND THE BEACH WAS JUST ACROSS THE STREET. ONE OF THE BEST STAYS OUR FAMILY HAS EVER HAD. WE WILL BE BACK NEXT YEAR FOR SURE! Great beach cottage

We had a wonderful week at Neptune's Folly. The location could not be better - maybe 50 steps to the beach access walkway. The cottage was very clean and well stocked with kitchen utensils. We appreciated having both a coffee pot and Keurig machine. The wifi and TVs worked well. The front porch was probably our favorite part of the home with great views. Perfect

Neptune's Folly and MyOceanRental were perfect. We actually received a phone call notifying us we could start our vacation a little early as the house was ready early. The email notifications we received contained just the right amount of information and the house was fabulous. This classic house had everything we needed and was is an ideal location. Sweet beach cottage with wonderful porch

Neptune's Folly is a delightful beach cottage with an ocean access directly across the street. Although the kitchen and bathrooms have been renovated, the owners have saved the old style beadboard and wood flooring. This house has an authentic beachy feel and being so close to the beach ensures you can hear the waves and see the water. Bed linens and towels were good quality and ample. House was clean when we arrived. We stayed there 5 weeks during January/February and Folly Beach has enough activity, bars and restaurants to keep us amused. The front porch of this rental is large and has an ocean view. If you're looking for a modern, slick new home, this isn't for you. Perfect house for a family

The house was exactly what I assumed it would be based on the listing. We chose it because it seems like a comfortable house with perfect access to the beach and it wants all of that. Having three teenagers out of the seven family members we did not want a house that was so fancy that we would be concerned, even though our children are pretty well behaved. The front porch was an absolute delight! The view of the ocean, and the breeze made even the hottest day is very comfortable. My only suggestion when you’re sending people information would be a reminder to bring bug spray if you’re planning on being outside, whether it be on the porch or even walking around downtown at dusk. The only issues we encountered was that the dishwasher is very old and it didn’t clean well, and then it stopped working altogether. Also, the drains in the kitchen and in the little sink in the bedroom they are slow to drain, and the one in the bedroom always backs up. Thank you again for sharing this property with us. We had a wonderful week!

Great location, comfortable house

We had a great time at Neptune's Folly, one hiccup with the hot water heater but management was quick to respond and got it taken care of quickly. The house is located conveniently on a corner lot, the road behind is a main road and people do drive rather fast so please keep your dog on a leash. Parking is better than most rentals on Folly. The beach access is close and you can see the water from the front porch- great for coffee in the morning and relaxing in the evening. The kitchen is well stocked, we had no trouble making meals for our group, limited spices and staples left from previous renters so bring what you will need. Ice maker didn't seem to be working but there were ice trays, not a deal breaker for us as we are used to getting ice for our coolers. Beds were comfortable, we brought our own pillows after reading other reviews so I can't comment on pillows. Air conditioner was cold! Internet was fast and reliable, we weren't able to make the cable work but not there to watch TV really so again not a big deal. Check in and out is painless.
