We loved our stay in this historic Charleston home. The accommodations were clean and equipped with the perfect amount of linens, and kitchen equipment for a get away trip! The location was perfectly located around little shops, cafes and the shuttle service. It was about a 5-10 min walk to the main drag of King street. This is definitely an older vibe home but we enjoyed the stay!
Staying in this old Charleston home was fun! Yes it’s old and it creaks but I found that charming. Location is close to free bus stop if you don’t want to walk. Bed was super comfortable. Would stay again.
We enjoyed our stay in beautiful Charleston. The house was such a classic style true to Charleston that we felt like we were part of the history. There was lots to see and explore nearby, and a quick drive to the hub of the city. We loved the small town feel of the neighborhood we were in and enjoyed the local coffee shop and bakery. Close to the downtown area but just enough out to not be in all the noise and congestion of the city.
Comfortable home that was convenient to downtown Charleston. Beds were great and able to walk to King St and all other downtown activities.
Enjoyed the Piazza in the evening.
Would definitely return here!
This apartment was super cute, built in the 1800’s which was so cool.
Beds are very comfortable and it’s in a great location, walking distance to most things and only $5 Uber rides to anything around 2 miles away.
We were very pleased!
We had a wonderful stay at this property in Charleston! The neighborhood was beautiful and just a short walk to downtown. This historic home was exceptionally clean and the beds were very comfortable. The host reached out to make sure we didn’t need anything shortly after we checked in. I highly recommend this property and would stay here again!
Very nice apartment that was perfect for us. Great launching spot for our activities. We struggled at first figuring out the dash bus, but had it down after a couple days.
The property was perfect for our 3 night stay over Thanksgiving. It was clean, had a small table that sat 4 for meals and the beds were comfortable. The property is located in a good neighborhood and it was about a 15 minute walk to King Street. We would definitely consider staying here again.

some cleaning needs to be done. Air return duct was black with stuff! lost something under bed, went to retrieve it, did not as it was filthy under bed-Dust hair etc. The plug in air freshener was WAY TO STRONG - unplugged it the odor lasted the whole stay -allergies went into high gear. only thing really good was the bed and pillows - very comfortable
The owner had wonderful communication with us. He provided tips on the surrounding area and replied extremely quickly with any questions we had. The house was charming, comfortable and clean. Great area that was a convenient walk to restaurants and shops. We would be happy to stay again next time we are in the area!
Great location! Short walk to downtown and many restaurants. Rooms are comfortable, but there is not much space to hang out in the living room. Can also be noisy from street traffic, but they have sound machines in each room to help alleviate. Overall was a comfortable stay.

Forgotten treasure
This could be such a great space but it’s missing the tlc every home in this cute neighborhood deserves. We stayed 4 nights and we each got one set of towels. The front door doesn’t stay shut without a deadbolt. The living room furniture could use an upgrade if you plan to sit for a bit. It’s in a great location! Lots of cute independent shops and restaurants.
Comfy beds, close buy to excellent bagels & coffee, and easy access to King st by car or walking. This home was perfect for our stay with our infant granddaughter, with plenty of room for her, her parents, and grandparents. The beds are very comfortable and rooms even have white noise machines to lull you to sleep. We watched rain from the veranda and slept in cool air conditioning. Super clean. Great visit- Charleston hospitality at its best!
Overall we had a great stay in Charleston. This was our first experience renting a Vrbo. The exterior of the home was a little bit more worn than the picture showed but we didn’t care. The inside was very nice though and was perfect for our stay. The host was very responsive and quick to help us out when we changed our minds and wanted early check-in after a long flight (we appreciated it!). It is a little farther of a walk from most of the main sights but Uber wasn’t a problem at all.
my son has college roommate and I stayed four nights over spring break. The Apartment accommodated all of our needs and exceeded our expectations. The location was perfect to all our areas of interest throughout Charleston longest drive was to Folly Beach, which was 25 minutes. The apartment itself was very cozy and well furnished. Both beds were very comfortable. We spent most of our evenings, relaxing, and watching a movie. I love the fact that it had a porch area. I would highly recommend!
My wife and I celebrated our 35th wedding anniversary in this historic home. It was very centrally located and was the center of our great week. We were able to plan many day trips all over the city. There are multiple coffee shops, a bagel shop and restaurants within walking distance. We were able to absorb all the local history starting with just walking around the neighborhood. So many beautiful homes in this historic area. I hope you enjoy this home as much as we did when you decide to stay here!!

Rent from VRBO a lot so have stayed in many different units.
Location although a bit of a walk to King Street we didn’t mind. The house outside could use some TLC but inside although not fancy it worked. Washer/dryer helpful. Kitchen although we really didn’t use was handy. The front door lock was sometimes tricky to open, again a little TLC would help. Another club chair in family room area would be helpful. Would be comfortable renting again but looking for fancy place this might not be for you.
