"Great overnight stay at The George Hotel which is centrally located in the city and within walking distance of all the shops and attractions. Room was spacious and had all the amenities we needed for an overnight stay. Staff welcoming and helpful and would recommend to others and return if staying in the area again"

"Very clean and welcoming. 100% I would recommend it if you're thinking of staying. One downfall is M6 Toll. But if you ask the staff they'll explain how to avoid it. "

"Tidy older hotel. Night stand was very dusty, so I’m not sure when our room as used last. Shower was fantastic, warning for the hot water should not be ignored! This was a convenient walk into town. "

"We were in Lichfield for a short break the George Hotel is right in the centre of the City the staff were friendly & helpful the hotel is clean and tidy. There is a private car park and I would recommend a stay here."
"Overnight stop on a long road trip, staff very friendly and welcoming at both very late check in and check out the following morning. Room basic but clean and comfortable. Adequate free parking."
"Very clean rooms and tidy. Easy access to the house. Only 4 towels available, even though it sleeps 8 and says towels provided. I did ask for more and was told that was all that was available, we had to go to the shops and buy them. The garden was good to use, as there is only a 2 seater sette and 4 chairs round a table to sit on, so we had to use the outside table, chairs to eat"
"The Barns Hotel is a great place to stay. Staff are very accommodating and friendly, room was comfortable and clean and there is free parking.
The restaurant served reasonably priced food and the breakfast was lovely.
The manager kept the bar open until we had all returned from a local festival.
