"We had a wonderful one night stay in this beautiful chateaux after finishing up our cruise. The romantic room was gorgeous! Very comfortable bed, beautiful river view. I wish the menu had been bigger but the food was very good. All of the staff were very friendly and helpful."
"Matthias and Emilie were very gracious hosts. We felt right at home from the moment we arrived. Their beautiful animals were immediately our friends. We decided to have their dinner and it was amazing as was the breakfast. A bonus was we met another couple that stayed the night and became good friends with them as well. (I’d recommend contacting owners - you often need a code for locked gates to get quai side - they don’t give you this information so you need to request it) we found the setting beautiful. Loved the decor in the Art Deco room of the Barge. The hosts provide everything needed, even putting milk, butter and orange juice in the fridge on arrival which was a nice touch. We were warmly welcomed and treated with genuine hospitality by the wonderful Pascal, Emma, and Kim. A couple of highlights were conversing with the wonderful staff, enjoying breakfast in the château’s picturesque backyard, admiring the chateau’s interior, and doing the wine tour an unforgettable setting.
