"We had a wonderful one night stay in this beautiful chateaux after finishing up our cruise. The romantic room was gorgeous! Very comfortable bed, beautiful river view. I wish the menu had been bigger but the food was very good. All of the staff were very friendly and helpful."

"After difficulty finding and getting to the barge. (I’d recommend contacting owners - you often need a code for locked gates to get quai side - they don’t give you this information so you need to request it) we found the setting beautiful. Loved the decor in the Art Deco room of the Barge. The hosts provide everything needed, even putting milk, butter and orange juice in the fridge on arrival which was a nice touch. "Great stay. Recommend this hotel if you are traveling to the left bank. Staff very friendly and knowledgeable. Great breakfast in a beautiful room. They also own the winery down the road 3 meters and can arrange a 35 euro tour and wine tasting. Pierre was our guide and gave us a fantastic tour. "

"We were greeted by Maxim, who took great care to show us around, explain things, take us to our room etc. We had 3 nights of peace and quiet and access to the beautiful pool. Lucie looked after us splendidly for our first breakfast & I can't begin to tell you how impressed were with our quarters. Being just 10 rooms, it's geared for relaxation & a little luxury. While we were happy with all food options, I suspect the lack of prepared cooked food for dinner, may be not to everyone's liking. But Bordeaux is just a few minutes away by car if so desired. As I said, we loved our 3 night stay & have already told friends & relatives that they should stay there if the opportunity arises. "

"We had a truly one-of-a-kind experience staying at Château Sénéjac. The château itself beautifully blends historic charm with modern touches, and our spacious room was tastefully decorated. We were warmly welcomed and treated with genuine hospitality by the wonderful Pascal, Emma, and Kim. A couple of highlights were conversing with the wonderful staff, enjoying breakfast in the château’s picturesque backyard, admiring the chateau’s interior, and doing the wine tour an unforgettable setting.
We’re so glad we chose to stay here. While part of us wants to keep this place a secret, it would be a real shame not to share such a beautiful and special gem with others."
"This hotel wasn’t what I expected. No front desk staff after 7. Room had one full bed and a loveseat type of sofa to sleep on. Had to ask for sheet for it-it was vinyl. Paid for 2 breakfasts and there was hardly anything being served-no eggs left and the rest of the food was scarce."
