"What a gem of a find, we stayed for one night whilst travelling from England to Spain. We was warmly greeted on arrival and went straight into the pool after a very long day. The host then prepared a fantastic 3 course home cooked meal with wine. Room was spacious, clean and bed comfy, with a wonderful views over the vineyards. "The located of this gite is truly outstanding It is so peaceful and pretty The closeness of the canal and its lock breaks the silence yet never interrupts your relaxation. The outdoor space is very well planned and enjoys the long afternoon sun The gite is very well equipped inside blending traditional with modern. The hosts are very knowledgeable and helpful and make delicious pizzas! The pool area is well stocked with sun beds and you can borrow swimming towels at no extra cost. It was a home from home! "

"Everything we needed was there. Nice beds, good, crisp bedding and nice pillows. Hot powerful shower. Very pet friendly place. James and Sam were very approachable if we had any questions. Perfect place to stay for house hunting in the area.Will definitely return."

"We had a lovely week at this beautiful property near Carcassonne, the interior belied the rather ordinary exterior it has been decorated beautifully and has all of the amenities you would need. The pool area and garden are planted with a range of plants both real and artificial, the pool not large but still great for cooling off with a large seating area, outdoor kitchen and BBQ, we spent most of our time here. The bedroom on the ground floor is beautiful and spacious with an ensuite, the four doubles on the first floor are again large and spacious and beautifully decorated serviced by three bathrooms. However, the three top floor rooms two are very small one a very small double the other a single and our party of 9 struggled to allocate these as they were not of the same previous standard. We had a few teething problems with the property but the housekeeper resolved these reasonably quickly and was always on hand to answer questions. The house is in a road with a few good restaurants in walking distance, a bank, pharmacy and local supermarket and an outdoor pool attached to the local swimming baths. All in all if you are after a large, grand house and wish to explore this area of France and all it's beauty you can't go wrong with this property. "
