"This place was very convenient. It was close to everything. Walking distance. And the room was clean. They have a microwave in the lobby for use. And a yard and patio you can hang out at."

"What a delightful stay at Hotel Viking! The location was convenient to the Cliff Walk (20-minute walk) and Bowen's Wharf (10-minute walk), in a quiet and safe-feeling neighborhood. The rooms were sparkling clean and newly renovated, with a great rain-shower head and really nice quality personal care products. The courtyard was lovely, with a large fire pit, seating, a food truck bar, and corn hole. The pool has cute cabanas and a nice hot tub. My daughter and I were pleased with the spa experience. Overall, a really perfect, historic-feeling place to stay in Newport."

"We loved all the lobby space-lots of room for our group to gather. There were low of breakfast items to choose from on the menu. We didn’t like the crowds at the pool, especially when one of the pool staff said some people at the pool were “day guests.” Given the cost of our stay, we don’t think “day guests” should be taking away our pool space and deck chairs!"

"Great staff room was very clean, super friendly. The yogurt with fruit and the warm apple turnovers were delicious they had brought to the room in the morning. We had left my favorite shirt in the closet of the room after we had gotten home I realized, I called them they were super helpful and are going to Mail it back to use! Definitely would stay again."

"Perfect getaway! The location was perfect. Walking distance to all the cute shops, restaurants and cafe on Thames. Loved that it was just walking distance to the marina! I would absolutely love to go back again!"
