Very noisy in other rooms and the window was left open to air the room which i understand but there were hundreds of flies so maybe a screen should be fitted.

Easy parking outside the front of the hotel. Simple check in. Room not too far away.
Room a reasonable size. Everything worked. Bed was reasonably comfortable. It was quiet. Simple check out

Nice room (though the bathroom lacked a shelf for you to put your stuff) and well appointed. The parking was irksome (and even though hardly anyone was using it day and night the staff gave me a tedious "if we break a rule for you we'd have to do it for everyone" admonishment.) Frankly it was fine but not really £250-worth of value.

Had a great stay. Couldn’t fault any aspect of our stay. Staff were lovely, very attentive, couldn’t have done anything more! Very good meal in the restaurant, again great service! Tasty breakfast - great again! Stayed in a suite - comfortable bed, slept well. Room a good size. Was very clean. Overall a fantastic experience - can’t wait to return! Room 11, 20 - 21 February.

Staff very good and courteous but room left a lot to be desired.Chips out of walls, liquid splashed on 1 wall and left to dry,bathroom was dirty(dust), shower was full of mould, rust on stainless steel, toilet seat stained and the bowl (top edge) hadn't been cleaned in a while.
The laminate also seemed as not fit for purpose as chipped and lifting

This is not a proper hotel but functions as an annex of the George, across the road. This should be made clearer - especially as the doorman at the George would not let us in to their reception area at 10pm. The 'deluxe' double was basic, small with a dirty balcony. Poor value.
