"We had a VRBO booked for over six months in Salcha, the owner decided to cancel our reservation with barely 24 hours’ notice. Seeing that I was travelling from Florida it was a very bad situation to find ourselves in.I looked and found this Moose Creek unit and booked it. Not knowing what to expect as we took the only thing around. Let me just say that this was the best last minute "get me out of a bind" decision I have made this year. The unit was immaculate, spotlessly clean, spacious and quiet... as quiet as you can be next to an Air Force base. If you know Salcha you will know what I mean. We were in town to visit family and have already sent this units information to all our family and friends with instruction to “book this first”.Its proximity to shopping and North Pole is excellent, and Fairbanks is only 30 minutes away. I would highly recommend this unit and will be booking for all my future trips to Salcha."

"This home is just perfect for a short or long stay. We felt like we were experiencing authentic Alaska, and the home is beautiful. There are two bedrooms plus a comfy pull out couch, and our family was very comfortable. The kitchen has a small fridge, a microwave, stove, and oven, and all of the things you might need to cook a nice meal. Everything is very clean and well decorated- very hygge! The owners are fantastic and we consider them friends now, we enjoy seeing them (this is our second time renting from them). They will come to your home and bring their award winning sled dogs, and bring you on a training run. You’ll learn all you’d like to know about sled dog races and preparation, the lifestyle, the dogs themselves, etc. All together, this is the perfect way to experience Alaska and we highly recommend any rentals from this sweet family.
