Beautiful view with comfortable facilities. We hardly left the lodge. Incredible girl's trip with the mobile spa that came to us. Lovely location to Bryson city center area.
We had a great time in this wonderful cabin. The place was clean and all the necessities were provided. We loved the large porch and beautiful view, and all of us (4) said we would definitely stay here again.
Wonderful stay for our trip to the Polar Express. Beautiful and cozy, very detailed directions to get to the cabin. We loved that it was one level and the views were amazing as well as the porch. Highly recommend!
Cabin was great and matched listing exactly. Great view of the mountains from the porch. Wonderful place for a family thanksgiving. Located right next to Bryson City and Smokey Mountain Railroad. Would definitely stay here again.
Black Bear Lodge was a perfect home base for a visit to the Smoky Mountains. We were able to easily access the park as well as downtown to enjoy the Railway, shops, and restaurants. The view from the porch is fabulous!
This cabin was just exactly what we were looking for! It has an incredible view of the mountains and has everything you need to relax and unwind. From the rocking chairs on the front patio overlooking the gorgeous views, to the spacious living room, the hot tub and the fire pit, this place was perfect. We definitely recommend and would return for another stay!
We had a wonderful stay at the cabin and would go back. Beautiful view! The cabin was cozy and clean. The hot tub and fireplace made it perfect. The master shower was really neat.
We enjoyed our stay here! It provided a perfect place to call home after our daily adventures. It was a perfect middle spot between NC and TN activities. We certainly enjoyed watching the sunset from the hot tub each night! Thank you!
We were very pleased with our stay in this cabin. It was furnished exactly as depicted and was well stocked with basic supplies. There was ample room for 6 of us ( including 2 young children) I would definitely recommend this cabin
Great find. A few amenities need a little TLC and the linen could be fresher but everything was clean and the cabin is a nice quaint find for a small group of adults. Nicely located close to Bryson City, Cherokee, and Maggie Valley as well as the Parkway.
Quite simply one of my favourite places I've stayed in over 100 short term rentals. The cabin is remarkable, and the porch breathtaking. Can't say enough good things!
Family trip, chose for location between Asheville & Gatlinburg. Host provides clear directions to house.
Property as described, clean. Great view of mountains.
This was a girls trip to Bryson City. The house was beautiful and the views were awesome. We had such a good time, everything was great. Highly recommend this house, it has it all!!
We needed to disappear for a few days and this was EXACTLY what we needed. You can’t beat the view and proximity to hiking. It was also close enough to town if anything was needed, but you feel just about like you’re the only people on earth at the cabin itself. Lastly, GREAT host communication.
The cabin was beautiful and clean and just as expected. We loved it. Any questions I had the owner was quick to reply and help me out. Would rent again in the future.
Very nice property with covered porches, warm and cozy fireplace, roomy, open floor plan, good parking, comfy beds for excellent night’s sleep.Excellent location for activities in the area. Recommend brighter lighting in all house lights/lamps. Stair light out on steps which is a trip hazard.
Lovely cabin with everything we could need, and then some. It was easy to get back into town for dining, and to Cherokee for sightseeing. The road up to the could be daunting at first, and I wouldn't want to go up after dark for the first time, but we had no issue in daytime. The view from the front porch rocking chairs is worth the trip in itself. There is lots of space for a family to be comfortable here, enjoying the amenities and privacy.
