This 2nd floor room with Queen bed and en suite private bathroom is just 2 short blocks from Main St., Downtown Waynesville. Located inside The Herren House - a historic 1897 home, this grand house provides a peaceful setting in the heart of town. Also enjoy the shared dining room with large dining table + Keurig coffee machine, living room + board games, additional bathrooms off the 1st floor entry hall, the back-garden courtyard, gazebo with dining table, and the wrap-around front porch.

Code to get in didn’t work upon arrival, finally got in. House smelled like bug spray and the upstairs was very hot. We had to go buy a fan and it was still hot. Ok for price.

Wonderful getaway within walking distance of downtown Waynesville
This was a beautiful home full of history. The rooms were decorated with great old furniture that made it feel like we went back in time. The bathroom was great with the old tub and shower. The water pressure was so good and plenty of hot water. The house does make noises when people walk around, but that is to be excepted since the house is so old. The communication was very good with Rodney and I would absolutely stay again.
