"Our family spent over a week in this beautiful home and had everything we needed. The kitchen was very well stocked with everything we needed to cook for our large family and grocery stores and restaurants were relatively close.The beds were some of the most comfortable beds we have ever slept on and the view was just splendid! The neighbors dog (Mooch) was an added bonus as he would come and hang out with us on the deck.We enjoyed exploring the many small towns around this area and had plenty to do.The owner communicated with us throughout our stay and answered every question we had promptly. We would highly recommend this home and have it on our favorites for when we want to return to this area."

"we Have been here the last four or five years with four generations for 4 and half months to 74. we had a great time with the family. We love that there are only a few cabins nearby. Ted and Mary are easy to work with. Every relaxing and a lot of room. "

"We had a great visit. Did lots of hiking during the day in Nantahala. Enjoyed the evenings relaxing watching the creek out back. The listing doesn't fo justice for how well stocked the place is. Everything you could need is there, slow cooker, blenders, pots,pans, etc. Coffe maker does grinds or kcups. Perfect stay! Beautiful area!"

"The house was great! There were some areas that could use a deep cleaning but overall had a great time. The kitchen was very appointed. It was the first rental that I have a found blender, stand up mixer and plenty of pans for the oven. So it really took me by surprise to find that there were no oven mitts to be found and also a lack of kitchen towels. There are also a couple of pans that are in desperate need of being changed; everything was sticking due to the scratched up surface. "

"My son and I came to check out WCU and had a great stay at the cabin. Only 20 minutes from the school and located up on the side of a mountain, the cabin had everything we needed, particularly some peace and quiet and a comfy bed. Would definitely come back if in the area again. "
