"There were a few spots that I noticed could’ve been cleaned better, large red stain on the curtain, white splatter on the headboard behind the lamp, and tiny hairs in the toilet seat creases. Other than that I had an amazing night there, the food is good! The staff is very kind I did have one hick up when I was trying to check in that almost gave me a panic attack. It was a mistake but the woman checking me in kept saying I was meant to check in the next day til I showed her my reservation. She wasn’t rude but make sure you have your reservation ready to go. Room service was very fast and the woman that gave me my midnight snack and breakfast was very sweet, kind, and energetic both times which flabbergasted me. Check out was very easy I did it online. I believe since I checked out at 11:20-30 I was charged $10."

"The housekeeping does not clean the room -- only did the bathroom. The rooms are very dated with stains on the walls. Carpeting is old. But, still worth it as the location cannot be beat. Just remember to put on the fan setting on the air conditioner to drown out the noise of the nearby fire station"

"Pros • Location • Room aesthetic • One staff member really went above and beyond • Gym Cons • Zero effort for my birthday despite providing this information upon booking • WiFi down for hours upon arrival (April 9th) with zero effort/apology from staff (as someone coming from a different country I was completely cut off from being able to communicate... I was told to "take the bus around the neighborhood to access their free Wi-Fi") • No pool as advertised • Room smelled damp • Stained carpet • Dirty towel • Incredibly rude encounter with Sylvester the night manager • Distance from room to elevator • No vegan-friendly options at restaurant Overall I would definitely NOT recommend this hotel... honestly it was the worst hotel experience I've ever had. Hotel location, aesthetic and room decor were nice but personally I feel like anyone working in hospitality should understand the importance of providing friendly, quality service. Was a disappointing 5-day stay which was supposed to be a wonderful birthday celebration... instead it was an uncomfortable, negative experience :("

"Friendly staff, dust in the room"

"Loud guests and lots of street noise heard from my room. Low water pressure in the shower. Outside doesn’t feel safe at night. Day time was fine and the market is right across the street, so that was a plus. Several walkable restaurants in the area. Valet took nearly an hour to get our car."

"Our room was huge and the beds so comfortable. Everything was spotless. The only breakfast option was the coffee shop which wasn't very exciting, best to find a local diner."

"Supper cute place to stay and I absolutely loved the area. Close to everything but not on top of everyone if you know what I mean. Good good near by that’s open late. Give vintage but not old and dusty and I loved it. "
