Access was easy and the owner was very accommodating. breakfast food provided in the room, which was a nice touch. 10 minute walk into town down a steep hill but there were also a couple nice restaurants very close and the AT conservancy office is right across the street. "We (grandmother, mom and young son) had a great stay; all the beds were very comfortable. We were able to make breakfast and dinner as well as get take out because the house is so close to a shopping area. It was obviously an office in a previous life, and the layout worked well for us. Shower was lovely, the 1/2 bath was a nice plus and the sunshine over the table at breakfast was a great way to start our day. Definitely will stay again, as we plan on visiting downtown DC more. Thank you!"

"We've got the 2 beds suite with the city view. City view was really nice - we've seen the Washington Monument and a church. I can't say that the room was very new, but it was clean, everything seems worked fine and we did not have any issues with our stay. I also had some communication with the staff and every time my questions have been answered and everything went out fine. Neighborhood is also very nice and safe. It is far from the city center, but it only costs <$15 to get there on Lyft or Uber. We really enjoyed our stay."
