Once you're inside, the property is excellent. The only problem we had was finding it! Good location, close to the town centre, pubs and restaurants.

Great place to stay, in the city centre but quiet enough that you won’t hear much from the local street. The stay would be great, apart from the general messaging of “if you don’t do x, you’ll be charged y”, which takes away from the calm and pleasant time you’re trying to have away. But understand the need to keep the place cleanly.

Lovely place. Felt safe and secure with the code security. Glad I booked the parking as we parked and left the car there for the 2 days. So close to everything. Bed was comfortable. Place was lovely and clean. Would definitely book with them again .

Romantic weekend

Absolutely wonderful stay the location is perfect the apartment is spotless All you need The pillows were quite hard for us so we bought two new ones but this is personal preference but if you like a soft pillow take your own or perhaps the owners could supply them so you have a choice The internet went off so the tv was limited but the weather was windy maybe this had something to do with it But out of 10 we rate the stay 8

This was a great apartment very spacious and in a great location. Everything we needed to get to was walking distance. I would highly recommend. We will be going back again. Anyone visiting Chester I would highly recommend Deva Leisure.

Clean, spacious, easy access

The accommodation was modern and spacious with a small kitchen area. If you stay here check your junk emails one day before going to find details of how to pay for parking. Location is walking distance to Chester city centre and would stop again. Two comfy chairs provided but has space for a two seater sofa if I had to comment on what to improve.

Beware the bathroom

Very clean and comfortable room but beware the bathroom. We couldn't use the sink. If they move the shelf under the mirror you could maybe use the sink, however just for the weekend, you can't beat the location. I didn't know before I booked that I had to pay for parking, but it was lovely and safe. We had room 3 called Riverview but no view. Again if you're out and about then that won't matter. Just to reiterate, the room is lovely and I would book again. You can always wash in the kitchen sink in the little kitchenette which was a great idea.

Lovely accommodation with large and comfortable super-king bed. Beautiful view of the city walls and in a prime location - close to Pepper St which is full of life - but also far enough from the hustle and bustle, allowing a relaxing and peaceful sleep. In walking distance of city walls, multiple pubs/bars, restaurants, coffee shops, Tesco extra and some clothing shops but this is still a peaceful spot and not noisy. All instructions and communication with host were quick, helpful and easy, 3 separate phone numbers were provided so could be contacted easily if needed. Self check-in and out was well explained and straight-forward. Apartment was tidy, clean, modern and appliances easy to use with instructions provided. Everything you could need was there including towels, hair dryer and iron/ironing board. Small kitchen area but fine for us as we dined out mostly, it had everything you could need regardless and we did use it! Laundry room available to use at a small cost (a pound or two). Car park was not available at the time but host provided information on another secure, overnight car park which was less than a 5 minute walk around the corner - thanks. Our second stay in Chester, we loved every minute and this brilliant accommodation made it all the better - would definitely stay again. A jam-packed weekend and a well-earned rest at a great spot. I stayed in room 3. The entry instructions were completely over the top and I struggled to read them at 1am when I arrived – not much thought given to making things simple for the customer. Three key entry systems at 1am doesn’t work and really unnecessary – consider combining everything and make a minimal increase so the parking is covered whether its used or not. Also the parking space was aweful and constricted – they should have foam covered the poles as that would have saved my sanity trying to turn into the space. Also I would have appreciated these instructions a few days before I was on my way as I need reading glasses and it was impossible to read a mountain of instructions on my phone. The room was very spacious and the bed very comfortable, but storage space was just a few shelves so I had all my clothes everywhere. Nowhere to put anything in the bathroom. The switch for the shower was a cable in the ceiling I had to stand on the toilet to switch on. The windows are covered only with blinds, which meant at 10pm there was still light coming in when I wanted to sleep and I was woken every day at 6am by bright sunlight streaming in whether I liked it or not. I’ve seen this on other reviews and the owners haven’t taken notice. The room design means the fridge is right next to the bed and is quite noisy, had to be turned off every night and anyone passing can see right into the toilet unless you keep the blinds closed.
