Very good

Easy keypad check in.
Nicely decorated.
Good kitchen facilities.
2 en suite bedrooms, separate bathroom and additional separate downstairs toilet.
Good location for Storyhouse, Market and city centre bars and restaurants.
Very poor soundproofing. Road traffic noise loud from bedrooms. Would recommend ear plugs.
Shower in second floor bedroom seemed to be stuck on very hot setting and was unusable.
Also requested late checkout a few days before check in. Was told could be confirmed on day of check in. Had no contact about this. Emailed and texted to enquire about the answer to this request. No response and cleaner arrived at property at 10am and we had to leave.
Perfect accommodation for a 2 night stay in Chester. In a great location for walking into the centre of town and less than 10 minutes drive to Chester Zoo.

Liked: Location
This is a 3 storey townhouse which is not wheelchair accessible. Pretty basic but functional. Too many beds in each room gives a cramped, claustrophobic feeling. One room shouldn't even be a bedroom, think was originally designed as a potential ensuite to one of the other rooms but was never completed.Kitchen area okay, nice and clean but not enough space for 13 people to eat together sensibly.Carpets have no underlay and the soundproofing between floors is non existent. On a more positive note, house is just around the corner from Chester Market, which is an excellent place for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Also, central location makes it easy to get to the City Walls, town hall, and not such a far walk to the racecourse Parking cost us 14 for about 20 hours including the overnight stay. This is more suited as a party venue than a house to relax in. Horses for courses!
