Design house in Tuscan style surrounded by nature

"Beautiful farmhouse with an absolutely stunning countryside / mountain view! The property was spotlessly clean, comfortable and had everything we needed like dishwasher, washing machine, air con etc for a very relaxing, enjoyable holiday. We really got to switch off and unwind! The good sized lovely pool was enjoyed a lot by the kids - and us! The visitors in the neighbouring cottage can also use it but we hardly saw them. Although in a very rural, mountain location, we loved the area as it was easy (25min drive) to get to Lucca, the pretty, vibrant walled city and the beach was still accessible (50mins). A car is definitely required though. Highlights included the nearby delicious and reasonable priced restaurant Molin Della Volpe and paddle boarding in a canyon just 20mins away! We would definitely visit again. Thanks so much Patrizia"

"A last-minute booking for us for four nights - a beautiful house in a wonderful scenic area of Tuscany, I am glad I chose it for our first family trip to Italy! The house contains everything you need (lots of equipment), it has masses of space, lovely decor & a great sized pool too (pool towels are provided, as well as bathroom towels). The air con works very well (it's in the kitchen) & the bedrooms all have fans. Great TV channel options, lots of books in the hallway & seating areas everywhere. If you like watching garden birds, there are plenty to admire & we are almost certain we saw two eagles fly in front of us when driving through the upper village. Hannah (the owner) was extremely helpful & very quick to reply to my messages, she gave some great recommendations too :-) Things to consider: Due to its location in the hills, a car is most definitely needed & the driver should be confident negoiating thin windy roads. Take lots of insect deterrent if you tend to get bitten (the mozzies had a field day on me, even when covered up)! The pool depth is approx 1.4m (no shallow end, just steps leading in), should anyone small like to touch the floor when swimming. Would I recommend this villa for a quiet & relaxing holiday, absolutely yes!"

"We spent 7 days in this beautiful house near Lucca and explored Tuscany.The house ist very tastefully furnished and we enjoyed the terrace and the garden with its wonderful view. It is a wonderful place to be.Massimo is a great host and told us good tips for our excursions.We would love to come back."

"Zeer compleet uitgerust huis. Voldoende badkamers. Heerlijk zwembad en fantastisch uitzicht. Verschillende balkons met mooi uitzicht en voldoende schaduw. Ondanks hoge temperaturen overdag midden zomer blijft het huis goed koel binnen. Wij hebben genoten!"

"Wir hatten einen traumhaften Urlaub in diesem Ferienhaus! Dass das Haus von den Großeltern stammt, verleiht ihm viel Charme, während der gesamte Außenbereich gefühlt frisch renoviert und top gepflegt ist.Außenbereich: Ein absolutes Highlight. Neben dem Pool gibt es fünf Liegen mit Sonnenschutz, einen Pavillon mit Liegestühlen sowie einen weiteren Pavillon mit Tisch, Strom und einem atemberaubenden Blick ins Tal und auf Cardoso. Vor dem Haus lädt ein mit Kiwis bewachsener Pavillon zur Entspannung ein. Zudem gibt es ein Waschbecken, Pizzabackofen und einem gemauerten Grill – perfekt für gesellige Abende. Da man bis in die späten Abendstunden Sonne hat, findet man hier zu jeder Zeit das ideale Plätzchen.Innenbereich: Es fehlt an nichts. Die Küche ist bestens ausgestattet, sogar mit Salz und Pfeffer, Mülltüten usw. Wir haben uns riesig über die liebevolle Geschenkbox bei Ankunft gefreut! Die Schlafzimmer im Obergeschoss sind gemütlich und bieten ausreichend Platz. Auch Waschmöglichkeiten sind vorhanden.Service & Lage: Francesco war immer per WA erreichbar. Pool wurde auch 2 mal gereinigt, hier einfach mit ihm abstimmen, wann es euch passt.Einmal hat er sogar frisches Gebäck vor die Tür gestellt – ein toller Service! Er und Bekannte sind in per Telefon erreichbar, falls es mal ein Problem gibt.Die Lage ist herrlich ruhig, allerdings sollte man aufgrund der Hanglage ein Auto einplanen.Ein wunderschönes Haus mit herzlichen Gastgebern, uneingeschränkt empfehlenswert."

"Die Unterkunft ist wie dem Inserat zu entnehmen ist schön und abgelegen gelegen. Der Gastgeber war sehr gut erreichbar. Die Betten waren leider unbequem und relativ kurz. Teile der Zimmer rochen sehr muffig und waren feucht. Für ein paar Tage aber völlig in Ordnung."
