"The host Patrizia is lovely, really helpful. Comfortable and spacious house which is well equipped and with characterful designer furnishings and lighting etc. Though quite pleased to find a modern more traditional sofa than the seating cubes shown on the website photos. Excellent wifi in the house, though it didn't reach to the pool (not a bad thing!). Good aircon which managed to keep the 35C heat at bay. Be prepared for a couple of kilometers single track road with few passing places to get to the property. It's a quiet road though and we only met a couple of cars when leaving on the last day. Recommend visiting the small hilltop town Coreglia Antelminelli, and we had a lovely visit to the Orto Botanico in the Apuan Alps, amazing views of mountains made of carrara marble, and guided tours of the wild flowers just 5 euros each."

"The property is located in a beautiful area, it was stunning. So peaceful and relaxing, so many trees! The property itself was comfortable, had everything we needed and was very homely, which added to the relaxed atmosphere. The welcome pack provided by the property owners was very much appreciated as was the regular supply of fresh farm eggs, which were delicious! One of the things we loved about the property was the different areas where you could sit so you could follow the shade if you wanted to, and have a different view from each. Two local train stations were in easy reach (driving) and it was very simple to get the train to Lucca and Pisa, both of which provide very good days out. We also visited a number of the local villages and towns (by car), which are all different and some very pretty, definitely worth exploring. One slight negative about the property description. It’s described as ‘detached’. It isn’t, there is a much smaller home attached to it although the owners were only there at the weekends during the two weeks we stayed at Tre Campi. It didn’t detract from our stay though.Overall, a beautiful place to stay, both the property and the location, with lovely property owners who kept the place very clean and were always on hand if we had any questions (many thanks to Francesco and his mum!). Highly recommended."

"Fabulous property. Beautiful gardens. Wonderful outdoor cooking and dining area. Quiet and surrounded by nature...loved it...would love to come back again. Easy distance from pisa, lucca and florence. Plus moutains and beach. "

"Our stay in Lucca was wonderfully relaxing. Massimo was a great host. He stopped in several times in the two weeks that we were there. His travel tips and suggestions made our trip the most enjoyable we’ve had. The house was nicely furnished but kept a farmhouse charm. The view from the patio never failed to relax us. Very peaceful. We would come back in a heartbeat."

"The house is an absolutely stunning location. Breath taking views every morning, even if the weather did always play ball. There are some lovely areas to walk in and explore nearby and a few very nice local restaurants but these can get booked up very quickly. Even when it was raining we enjoyed our stay as the dense forests provided plenty of cover and there are excellent trips to caves and nearby cities such as Lucca and Barga that are easy drives. The roads in the valley are quite narrow but traffic is generally very light so you I'd recommend not renting an SUV as it makes it much more challenging to pass other cars at points. "
