Tuscan Villa with Panoramic Views & Private Pool

"Vi havde et rigtig dejligt ophold i villaen. Huset er rummeligt, og poolen var et stort hit for både børn og voksne. De mange terrasser og de rolige omgivelser gjorde det til et skønt sted at slappe af.Olivier var en rigtig god vært og svarede altid hurtigt, når vi havde spørgsmål. Til gengæld lykkedes det os aldrig at få kontakt til den lokale house manager, selv om vi forsøgte, så det var heldigt, at Olivier var så nem at få fat på.Stedet er ideelt, hvis man søger fred, ro og smuk natur, men man skal være opmærksom på, at det ligger ret isoleret. Vejen ned til huset er meget ujævn, og begge vores biler skrabede på flere gange. Opkørslen fra huset er desuden meget stejl, hvilket kan være en udfordring med en almindelig personbil.Udsigten er flot, men den kunne efter vores mening blive endnu bedre, hvis nogle af træerne og hækken blev beskåret, da de skygger for en del af panoramaet.Affaldssystemet var desværre den største frustration under opholdet. Når man bor mange personer i huset, fyldes affaldet hurtigt, men flere gange blev vores poser ikke taget med ved afhentning og blev i stedet sat tilbage. Det betød, at vi hurtigt stod med store mængder affald, som vi selv måtte håndtere.Samlet set havde vi en skøn ferie, og huset, poolen og de rolige omgivelser opvejede klart ulemperne. Med lidt forbedringer omkring adgangsvejen, beskæring af beplantningen og affaldshåndteringen ville oplevelsen være tæt på perfekt."

"10 personer. Mega meget plads. Virkelig venlig og hjælpsom kontaktperson, Isa. Gode handlemuligheder i gåafstand. Poolen blev rengjort hver morgen af Mario. Og man kan holde øje med børnene i poolen fra overdækket frontparti af huset."
Beautiful House in the hills near Lucca - Pet Friendly -

"Just wow! What a beautiful stone cottage in the mountains near Bagni di Lucca. Built over 3 floors, it has large spacious rooms and all furnished with tasteful art, sculpture, photography and period furniture. And so many books! An absolutely beautiful aesthetic space in a tranquil situation with mountain views. The perfect place to relax and recover from everyday life, a true escape. The kitchen is in the large, cool basement, leading onto the mountainside terrace; it is really well stocked. The bathroom (top floor, along with the bedrooms) is spacious and in Mediterranean / North African style with a wet room (cold showers perfect in hot weather!) There's a great study if you want/need to work (we didn't!) The cottage is a great springboard for Florence and all its fantastic museums - just an hour and a half to the car park where you hop on the tram into the city centre. Also Pisa (Leaning Tower) and Lucca (walled town) are nearby. The hosts (who live next door) are brilliant - friendly and welcoming, and they understand the perfect balance between being helpful / available and discreet. This beautiful place will certainly become our much loved home from home!"

"Fantastic accomodation and hosts.For the first time in over 30 years of renting holiday accommodation we want to give more than 5 stars! Guiseppe and Cinzia were amazing hosts. They collected us from the roadside when our hired car had to be towed away due to a puncture, took us to the local station for a trip out when we were car less, booked our taxi to Pisa to collect a new car and were just lovely. Even though they lived next door we had our privacy. The accommodation was better than the photos, easy car parking, lovely plunge pool and our hosts left out local wine, procesco, biscuits, home made limoncello plus more. Easy couple of minutes walk to some nice restaurants, cafés and a very good supermarket. We did park and ride for Florence which was easy, but train station just 6 minutes away. Lucca; 30 mins on the train was a really lovely city. Thank you Guiseppe and Cinzia. We will be returning!"

"The property was a wonderful experience. We valued the beautifully stunning view and the quiet village. The feeling was old style Tuscany with modern conveniences. The host was quick to respond and easy to deal with. One of the most pleasant stays possible."

"Pool was good but ladder was unsafe for any older personBed linen was on very poor quality side.Ripped doors, thin bedsheets & poor quality towels….Suggest attention be given to these items.Kitchen knives, glasses etc were limited and of poor quality."
