The apartment was perfect! Fantastic views from every room (it's a corner apartment). Everything was very clean, comfortable, and practically furnished. There were plenty of soft towels, all kinds of toiletries (shower gel, shampoo, and even cotton swabs and pads), as well as kitchen paper and dish soap. Even detergent was provided, and the washing machine and dryer were very clean! We didn't have to buy anything else during our week-long stay. There was even plenty of coffee (Nespresso capsule machine) and tea. For everything else, there's a large supermarket right next door.The pool is clean, pleasantly heated, and the whirlpool is pleasantly hot (you can turn on the bubbles yourself using a small column). We didn't use the grills, but they all looked very shabby. Overall, everything was very clean, and everyone was doing their best (just a few new cue rods for the pool table would have been nice). Fulton Market is also nearby, a 5-minute walk, perfect for enjoying pretty much all the delicacies Chicago has to offer. We felt very safe in the neighborhood, as well as in the house, so we even left our children (10 & 13 years old) alone to go out in the evenings. There's also a bus in front of the supermarket that takes you to the tourist hotspots; otherwise, we used Uber a lot.In my opinion, the house is primarily used for living; we were probably the only tourists. But that doesn't matter at all. If you have any questions, cloud9 is easy to reach. Definitely recommended!
