I had a single room, so it was small, but perfect for my needs. Location was fantastic, right on Laugavegur, could walk to all kinds of fun places. Rainbow street was a block away. Very friendly and helpful staff. This was the second time I have stayed at a Center Hotel, and I found both locations (Skjaldbreid and Bingholt) to be very clean and comfortable, and well within my budget. Highly recommend.

We have no complaints. The hotel is in the middle of town with numerous places to eat, things to do, and even the Corner Market grocery store. It is only a couple of blocks from Bus Stop #6. Our room was very clean and comfortable, breakfast was wonderful, and the front desk staff were very nice and helpful.

A great stay! Comfy beds, good staff, close to things, only drawback is you're right in the center of the nightlife area so you can expect to hear music and drunkenness and random yelling late into the evening.

The best thing about this hotel is it's location. Right in the walkable area with lots of shops and dining options. Parking was available with a couple of minutes walk. We were very happy with the accomodations.

Great Hotel in a Great Location

The hotel is a short walk from the bus stop. It’s on a main road, so there are shops and restaurants all around it. I was able to check in early for a small fee (less than $20). The hotel rooms are nice and large enough to sort through my bags. The breakfast was delicious. The only negative is that you do have to walk up a few steps to get in to the hotel. I would definitely stay here again!

Great location and nice staff

We stayed 1 night both before and after our hike. They kindly stored our luggage between our nights. The reception staff were friendly, helpful and welcoming and we really enjoyed the breakfast as well! The location is great and the room was affordable, will definitely visit again!

The location can't be beat! I stayed 2 seperate nights. The first night the room was tiny with two small single beds. Was right on main street with no soundproof. The second stat was much better, room was larger with doublebed, back side and quiet.

We appreciated the hotel's central location. There was a live music venue across the street, and we were able to open the windows and enjoy the music. The room was clean and comfortable and we really liked the included breakfast.
