"Enjoyed the hotel very much, property was clean and seemed safe. Room was clean, they cleaned it every day that we were there.
Breakfast was the usual fare, everything was great.
First time in Gatlinburg, a bit surprised that all the hotels charge a parking fee. Guess it’s the new norm. Still cheaper than a lot of other places that wanted $20+ (even the churches charge for parking in their lot!)"
"There is on think about staying here when it is busy u have to wait on elevator for ever. They have 2 elevators but that is it and lobby is on 4th floor from parking garage and then when u do get checked in u have to wait on elevator again to get your stuff. Everything else is great. Some staff r nice some or so so. But other than elevator and now the charger u 15.00 dollars a day to park at the hotel that u r staying at. But u can go next door to the other hotel and they don't charge. Loved stay here till they started charging to park. The elevator was a pain but we could did with it. But crazy to be charged to park at hotel."
"As someone who has been in hospitality for 25 years and currently works at the number one treehouse resort in America that is a five-star experience, I was absolutely thrilled with this hotel. The history, it was built so long ago, but nice. And the best part is the people. I felt like I was walking into myself. Meaning, these people know how to treat their guests. It was always pleasant. We had a room on the top floor with a Riverview. Even though off the balcony you're looking at another hotel it is still peaceful. The bed was comfy, but best of all, I searched through the entire hotel room looking for dirt or something that was not cleaned. I even pulled the filters and the AC and everything was absolutely spotless! We're talking the bottom of the toilet, behind the door in the bathroom in the corner, under the sink everywhere and everything was perfectly clean! Extremely close to the parkway. Across from log cabin pancake House. On the same road as roaring forton motor nature trail which is amazing. Spectacular indoor and outdoor pool and a restaurant on site!"
"Decent hotel room. A little dated but roomy and all the comforts of a suite. Good rate. Only problem was the shower didn’t have an inside shower mat or a no slip surface. A little risky at our age. Had to carefully hold onto the little rod inside. Otherwise a great location near downtown and a good room for decent money. Stayed here last year as well. "
