"Lovely house in great location. Took us a while to work out how to use the key but that was probably our fault! Also we were given the wrong code for back door key so could not use back door til we met laundry lady who gave us the right code! Showers were not great - some had no pressure or hot water but we managed with the ones that did work! Heating worked well. Dishwasher broken but we didn’t do any cooking so wasn’t a problem. We would definitely book this house again"

"Stay was enjoyed by all ages hot tub and pool table appreciated particularly by the youngsters only one thing we felt could be replaced were the tall stools in the conservatory. We felt they were unsafe and very rickety but had no reflection on our stay"

"My son and I used this as headquarters to visit some historic sites and relax before long travel home to US. It was a tight space but fully equipped and adequate for everything we needed. Nice hiking trails right outside the door. Beautiful setting. Owners were very nice and accommodating."

"We were so impressed with all the details and beauty of this wonderful cottage. It’s a gorgeous little town on the hill with ample walks and a FANTASTIC local pub - the Kings Head. We were so cozy here and it was the perfect base to explore all the nearby cute old towns, pretty roads, Stonehenge and Bath. Visit the Jolly Good Farm Shop for amazing sundries and the Lavender Cafe for a brunch that is impossible to beat. Bravo!"

"We had another lovely stay at the Lower Mill estate. Kids enjoyed the watersports, bike rentals, swimming and tennis and the independence of having it all within easy access. The cottage was a good space for the 2 families - 2 mums, 4 kids with a well stocked kitchen. It was a little dusty as nobody had stayed for awhile, which did also mean a lot of quite large spiders. Probably inevitable as you are so near the water but they were some of the biggest I have ever seen or had to deal with!"

"Perfect size property for a group of ladies in our 40s to get together and celebrate our friend’s upcoming wedding. Individual beds and bathrooms in each room made it all the more comfortable. Good size property - not too big but big enough for everyone to be together. Clean property, well stocked kitchen for entertaining. Sue was lovely and answered all our questions, provided towels and tea towel and made the overall experience nice and easy. Only downside is we didn’t get to enjoy the...
