"Enjoyed the rustic country charm. Outdoor bath was clean and inviting. Very private and full of birdsong. The cookies for us were very thoughtful and tasty. We loved the old record player and albums. Just superb. Thanks guys. P&M. "
"Ver nice place. Large bathroom and comfy bed. Off street parking in a great location, walking distance to cafes and a beautiful Oceanside walk to sumner."
"We started our NZ vacation here after landing in Christchurch and it was the perfect start. The pub served wonderful appetizers and desserts. We had a room with a balcony overlooking the bay--great for settling in and relaxation. The pool was cooler than I hoped. Breakfast is self-serve with limited but thoughtful options. Sharing facilities wasn't a problem, but there weren't many other guests during our stay. Staff was warmly welcoming and very accommodating. "
"Loved the motel our unit, one of the best motels we're ever stayed at.
The owner was very welcoming, super helpful, an overall brilliant host. Highly recommend staying here."
The Ultimate Cecil Wood Stay - Hot Tub, BBQ & Views
10/10 Excellent
"The house looks just like the photos and has incredible views. The amenities were also great, and we appreciated the clear video tutorials for checking in and using everything in the house. We did have an issue with the stove and using the grill, but the host was very accommodating and helped to get them fixed right away. We would definitely recommend the stay. "
"It's a quiet and peaceful stay, perfect for a short getaway, the room is spotless, also we got everything we needed there. Tim and his little helper, the Rottweiler are so friendly and enthusiastic. Overall is nice, would give them a 10 out of 10!"
