"We'd definitely recommend The Squirrel's Nest. A lovely house and owners. Our room was great, spacious en suite bathroom, air conditioning which with temperatures of 40 degrees outside (canicule), was really appreciated, tea and coffee making facilities on the landing. An easy walk into Gaillac for dinner (bring a torch) and not far from routes to Albi and Toulouse.

"A very quiet place in the middle of the fields around Toulouse. Sarah is an excellent host, the house is beautifully renovated in style, with many nice details.
We went by car to the metrostation, which was an excellent idea to visit Toulouse without any parkingproblem. The metroticket serves as free parking."

The couple and their young daughter acquired the house and estate in 2018 to develop it as a vineyard, and a year later they opened four guest rooms. "One of the best hotel for the price around the Matabiau station area. The insonorisation was very good even though I was on the first floor with a window directly on the street. The room (Twin Room) was bigger (like way bigger) than expected. The staff was super nice at our arrival and the room was very clean.
The breakfast is quite cheap, 4.5 euros for an express breakfast which is good value.
The only tiny negative is that the mattresses were a bit stiff for my taste. I still felt well rested in the end and would come back anytime i'm in Toulouse"
