"A very nice hotel. Perfectly situated for attractions of the city and certainly for restaurants day and night. The building is actually a centuries old palace and many of the common rooms reflect this with nice decor and antique furnishings. A rooftop bar and restaurant compliment the high standards of the establishment. Service at reception, breakfast and staff in general was similarly always very good. Our standard room was a good size with a/c, fridge, TV, safe and tea and coffee facilities, very comfortable.Buffet breakfast was extensive, some hot choices, bacon, sausage, eggs, a considerable variety of cold meats, cheeses, yogurts and breads and cakes. Fresh fruit, tea, variety of coffees and cold juices completed and excellent start to the day."

"This is a BnB not a hotel so you won’t get all the amenities you expect from a hotel. But the staff is excellent and the facility is extremely nice. It’s in a good location, within walking distance to restaurants and tourist attractions. This may sound strange but it has an elevator. Something we did not find in other hotels/BnBs. We stayed at 8 different places on this trip and only 2 had one. The breakfast was very good but the scrambled eggs were not hot. We found this to be common in both Greece and Italy. If we are ever back in Palermo we would definitely stay here again."

"The hotel was pleasant enough. Charming old building, decent room, very nice courtyard for breakfast and dinner. One complaint, we booked a taxi from the airport to the hotel through the hotel. When our flight was delayed and we missed our connection we messaged the hotel well in advance to let them know we would be arriving later in the day. Several hours later we received a message saying we would be charged for 75 euro and they would charge another 75 euro to meet us later that day. It then took multiple calls to eliminate the charge and arrange the revised pickup. The only explanation I can come up with is that they don't check the messages and so can't update the driver. But the fact that they attempted to charge us shows either contempt for their customers or complete ignorance. I would suggest just grabbing a cab at the airport when you arrive. All in all it was okay but would't stay there again."
