"Amazing location, so close to town. Tidy house, very warm, had everything we needed for our stay. Beds were comfortable. Two bathrooms (one ensuite, one main with seperate toilet) was great for our group. Check in and check out process were easy and communication about these were excellent. Hosts very responsive to messages. Would definitely stay again. "

"The room was clean and had a view of the lake. The bed was comfortable. While the hotel is basic, I don't think it deserves the reviews it has received. It is a good, clean, comfortable stay. The price is more than I would expect in the city because it is in the middle of the South Island in a Dark Sky area, which adds costs."

"Mountain view was beautiful. Room was huge for a double bed occupancy- you get an entire upstairs area for kitchen, dining and relaxing. Hot water in the shower area had a bit of issue but bath tub worked fine. Enjoyed our stay as the area is quiet, safe plus we got to see some stars out of balcony at night. Breakfast was delicious."

"Didn’t see any staff on that day. There's no shampoo, body wash just a handwash in the shower. No face tower, just one hand tower in the shared bathroom/toilet for the whole house. Love the kitchen and lounge area, clean and tidy. "
