​A Rare Find: Why Room 1005 Is Our New Toronto Go-To ​Toronto can be notoriously tough on the wallet, especially in the Entertainment District. But after our stay at the Residence Inn, I can honestly say we found a total win. As far as 4-star hotels go, this was a 10/10 experience for us. ​The "Vibe" Check ​The first thing we noticed? The smell. It sounds small, but the hotel had such a pleasant, welcoming scent the moment we walked in. That, paired with a staff that was genuinely professional and courteous, made us feel like we weren't just another booking number. ​Space to Breathe (Room 1005) ​We were up on the 10th floor, and the room was a massive relief. ​The Reality: Was some of the furniture a bit "well-loved"? Sure. ​The Truth: It didn't matter. The suite was incredibly spacious, sparkling clean, and so comfortable that we felt right at home immediately. In a city where hotel rooms are usually the size of a shoebox, having this much room was a luxury. ​The Hidden Gems ​The Location: We were central to absolutely everything. We walked everywhere and saved a fortune on Ubers. ​The Gym: It’s on the smaller side, but it’s got everything you actually need for a solid workout. ​The MVP (The Jacuzzi): After a long, marathon day of shopping, the jacuzzi was heaven. The best part? Every time we went, it was totally empty.
