"The area was safe. There was lots of parking. Staff was friendly and accommodating. Breakfast every morning was great. The room was extremely small. There was no place to actually open your suitcase other than the bed. This hotel would be great if you were only staying 1 - 2 nights but not for a longer stay."

"This property is exactly as listed: charming cottage!!! The host is the best!! We thoroughly enjoyed our time there and the host was very accommodating to our schedule and needs. Wish we could have stayed longer to just take in the serenity of the setting."

"The space is fantastic!! It rained all weekend so we didn’t get to enjoy the outdoor space. Plenty of room for the entire family. Beds and linens were excellent. Great location for us."

"Too many options to choose from in Cypress. This rental should not be one of them. Poor communication with the host. I texted request for check-in instructions on day prior to arrival – no response. I texted again at time of check-in (3:00 pm) – again, no response. I called at 3:45, and was able to reach host. He hurried me off the phone, saying he’d IM instructions, which were immediately received. Included in the check-in instructions, he said there would be soft drinks and bottled water upon arrival. Nope. Scoured the house looking for the tv remote for the master bedroom. Never found. I did find, however, the missing smoke alarm in the dresser drawer. We could not use the master shower. The temperature control knob was non-functional. The only option was scalding hot water. Very dangerous!! Part of the rental agreement was also the use of the pontoon boat. We didn’t dare take him up on the offer – the driver seat was not bolted to the floor. Someone previously must have had fun in it though. The ashtray was full of cigarette butts. Not surprisingly, we were given no check-out instructions. "

"Loved that the property was so large and we were able to have separate rooms. Pool area is beautiful but water was cloudy and even though we requested pool to be heated it was never warm enough for the adults to swim. Property needs some upkeep. Floors sticky. Grass overgrown. Host was available but had hard time communicating with him. "
