"Quite a strange place as no staff on site, was ok for what we needed but not much character. Loud neighbours in the corridors at 7am after a wedding wasn’t ideal. Showers are electric so pretty weak. Beds were v comfy though and had hairdryer and tea and cofffee station."

"Hotel is in a great location, lakes are beautiful but the rooms could do with an upgrade and I would’ve expected some nice touches like moisturiser etc like most hotels do. "

"Lovely B&B, we really enjoyed staying over in Bibury… a very quiet little parish - but nice to be able to spend the day & enjoy both of the pubs. The B&B was ideal, much cheaper than staying at the Swan & only a few minutes walk into the ‘town’. Yes it was a little noisy, as has been mentioned before, but not really anymore than staying in a hotel I’d imagine + earplugs are provided if upstairs are too noisy for you! The room was nice - clean… comfy bed & soft bedding & towels. The breakfast was amazing - just enough choice & cooked just how you would like it. Limited parking but enough extra space opposite on the road - no issues really."

"What a place to stay. Friendly welcome, evening food excellent, real ale. Clean double ensuite, plenty of tea and coffee. Outstanding full English Breakfast served with a smile. Great way to start the Thames Path. Thank you.🙏"

"Very lovely pub with rooms above. The friendly staff and dog made the experience great. Beautiful scenery from the windows. Sourdough toast at breakfast was delicious. You can hear underneath your room but this is an old building, it’s very valid. The entry way into the room and bathroom can be quite low so if you’re above 5’7, keep ducking! Comfy bed, great shower, great service, looking forward to coming again on our next road trip around the Cotswolds. "

"Could be outstanding but the kitchen lets them down. The location, hotel and staff are wonderful but the food is where the shine falls off. Decent menu but most of the food was bland, lacking taste or overly greasy (fish). Breakfast was wrong both mornings (even with simple request), kitchen needs to read the orders properly.. At the two dinners, both night people on tables around us were commenting on their food.. (which is such a shame for a lovely hotel..."
