Maura and Michael are wonderful hosts. Breakfast was very good and it was a good sendoff for a full day ahead. Like most B & B’s furnishings are dated, but they are clean and comfortable. We enjoy looking at family photos and learning about our hosts.

This was a lovely bed and breakfast in a very quiet neighborhood . It was nice to be able to take a stroll down to the bay . Maura and Michael were very welcoming and were more than willing to accommodate our needs .

A pleasant stay
Springlawn is a lovely country home just minutes from the shore. The hosts were friendly and helpful. Breakfast was delicious. Very good value.

The hostess could not have been friendlier or more accommodating. She truly went out of her way to make me feel welcome. Also, this is a bed and breakfast. Due to my schedule I had to leave early. She set up the coffee pot, left juice for me, milk and cereal, brown bread, muffins, butter/jam and fresh fruit - all tastefully presented. Drawbacks - very residential neighborhood. Few choices for dining and those you have to drive to. Everything closed by 8pm.

Michael an Maura are a delightful couple. The home was very clean. A bit disappointed in the breakfast. At the other B&Bs we stayed at, they had a lovely breakfast bar in the morning, so that’s what we came to expect. The facilities were a bit dated. Other than that, it was a lovely experience.

Maura and Michael recreated the old days of BnB where we felt like respected house guests. Room and bathroom were spacious, clean, well-appointed and functioning well. Old world charm in lounge and breakfast areas. Wonderful breakfast selections. Thank you, and live long and prosper :-)

A Hidden Gem !
Maura and Michael were delightful hosts.. they were very friendly and we couldn’t fault a thing about our stay. Bed was comfortable and our room was spotlessly clean. We also had a menu for breakfast which was cooked exactly as we asked and it was delicious. It’s been a long time since we stayed in a B&B and only stayed as hotels were all booked out but after staying here we found it was as good if not better than some of the ( trendier) hotels we have stayed in.. There’s not like the personal touch and that what you get with Maura and Michael as Springlawn.. We highly recommend!!😊

Maura was the best host ever! She is such a lovely person. She called around to see what places were open for dinner, she was just so wonderful. The accommodations are simple but clean and comfortable. The location is great for exploring Galway, the Cliffs of Moher, the Aran Islands, Connemara, Limerick, and I’m sure more as well. It’s a great location in a local, quiet area that really gives you a feel of local living.

20 mins out of Galway city, which was preferred as Galway busy and noisy in the evening, almost like Temple Bar Dublin. Not very upto date accommodation, but that is fine, everything worked and was clean, grounds very tidy, breakfast a plenty. Hosts very accommodating

We had a lovely stay here. The hosts were incredibly kind, attentive and willing to go above and beyond for their guests. We were given our own space to come and go as we pleased and when it came to the breakfast, it was second to none. Best fry up we have had in a long time (better than the 5 star hotel we stayed at the previous night). Lovey cute b&b, could not have asked for more. Thank you for the great stay, Springlawn!

We normally book a hotel for our trips but prices in the Galway area were very high at the time of our visit as there was a music festival in progress. There are just three guest rooms all on the upper floor of the property. Each room has en-suite facilities. Our own room also had a vanity suite within the room. Our room was well maintained and spotlessly clean. The decor is very much in the style of a private house rather than a hotel. Guests also have use of a lounge downstairs with a multi channel TV. You order breakfast the previous evening and specify a time. The hostess offers some delicious varations of scrambled egg as well as a full Irish breakfast.. The property is located in a quiet residential road some distance from the village so a car is essential. We worked out that the best way to visit Galway city was by bus. There is an hourly service on the main road through the village or a better option is the half hourly service from Oranmore which runs late into the evening. Free parking is available opposite the bus stop. There are some very good eating options close by but all involve the need to drive. The hosts are very welcoming and go out of their way to make you feel comfortable.

Was expecting a Farm House on acreage, but found a home in a suburban like neighborhood. Room had 3 twin beds with no floor space. The en suite bath was smaller than a closet. Breakfast of eggs with ham and cheese was scrambled eggs with two thin slices of cold lunch meat and three slices of cheddar cheese. The hosts are welcoming. Decided not to stay a second night, but was charged only €5 less than if we had stayed. Drove north and stayed at The Great Southern Hotel in Sligo for €5 less than a night's stay at Springlawn

Very dated, very small room but friendly staff
The property was very dated and the room too small for a guest room. The bed was very soft and the sink in the room. The 'ensuite' was in a tiny cupboard. Good breakfast and friendly staff.

Charming B&B with lovely hosts!
The hosts, Maura and Michael we're fantastic and so accommodating. My wife and I really enjoyed chatting with Michael during their delicious complementary breakfast. The room was quiet, tidy, and had a great view. If we are ever traveling near Clarinbridge we will surely stay here again!

Great Irish Hospitality
We were given a warm welcome and made to feel very at home. There was a sitting room for our use and the room was comfy with a great view. It was a short but pleasant walk to the sea. Breakfast was delicious and Our hosts went out of their way to help with sightseeing suggestions and advice. It was a great base to explore the area.

Lovely country comfort.
Maura made us so welcome and feel very much at home here at Springlawn B&B. The room was very good and lovely and clean and breakfast was delicious. We ate dinner at Rafterys down the road and it was delicious as well.

We really enjoyed our stay. The owners were very, very pleasant and helpful with travel directions and directions to restaurants. The breakfasts were delicious: full Irish breakfasts or porridge or anything in between. The setting was beautiful, in a pretty neighborhood, close to a main road, but quiet. The only problem was that the shower had mildew.

Nice friendly B&B
The B&B was lovely, easy to find and received a warm welcome. The bedroom was comfortable with a good shower. We were offered a choice of room as they were not full that evening. The breakfast was tasty with a variety of food. There was lots of toast on offer, however the cereal and cooked breakfast was enough for us.

The owner was very kind and helpful. The house itself was clean, just a bit dated. The neighborhood is very nice and you can walk to the "beach". The walls were paper thin and we could hear every noise from the next room. Apparently they've been in the B&B business for something like 30 years- but don't think much has changed in that time. Personally I think the price was too high. They were so nice that I don't want to say anything mean- I just wouldn't stay there again.
