  • The Bear’s Den on Mountain View Rd small cabin loaded with charm Its modern meets rustic with aromatic fresh pine and cedar shiplap open concept living & dining areas, coffee bar copper accents King bed with alarm clock white noise machine ceiling fan and cedar closet. A Fullsize futon in living area. Corn hole game, 10 acres view of Rabbit Ear Mountain PRETTY sun rises and sets and star filled skies. Come hibernate at the Bear’s Den with RV hookup
    The space
    There is a gravel drive and a concrete wrap around porch with pine trees and a pergola. The cabin opens to the living area with kitchen and dining to the left bedroom and bathroom to the right. Board games and puzzles at hand. 2 large televisions. Great space. We also have full RV hookups for 30 and 50 Amp with water and sewer.

    Guests have full access to the cabin and wrap around porch.

Beautiful New Mexico views

This place is great! I have stayed her before and will come again. Close enough to Clayton to get what you need yet far enough out to have amazing views of the mountains and the night sky. Comfy bed and full kitchen is great.

Absolutely perfect.

This little gem was absolutely perfect for a night stay. Very clean communication was immediate, place had everything you need and then some. Will definitely stay again!!

Clayton Getaway

Our short stay at the Bear’s Den was most enjoyable. Everything you might need was provided in a meticulously maintained tiny house. We would definitely choose to stay here again when the opportunity arises.

Description needs to be updated

We are an hour out in our electric car needing to charge ; counting on charging because it is in the description that an EV charger came w the house . An hour out the host messages us that she is an RV host property and that there will be an RV plugged into the charger we needed and had counted on using . If you are driving electric and need to charge just be aware it may not be available . There are up to two RV spaces right next to the house that are rented to passing through RVs; so know there may be as many as 2 RVs parked next to the house, right outside. The people in the RV for us we’re incredibly quiet ; but know your peace depends of the people in the RV(s). She did offer for us to charge at her house which we are grateful for ! We really are ! Because she did we were able to fully charge overnight . Thank you so much for that The house was so clean and I mean clean like I like clean. Her efforts are incredible ; she left so many snacks, the coffee bar is really nice . You can choose from a full pot of coffee or a Keurig. It’s wide open empty country very nice . The description gives impression that you have 10 full acres w exception of other tiny house . The listing doesn’t say that 2 RV spaces are also rented at same time right outside .

Charming place to stay, kitchen was well-equipped and cabin was clean. The only thing we found hard was that there was so much stuff, making it hard to find room for our things at times. We wish we could have spent time outside but it snowed while we were there in May!

Quaint, well appointed cabin in a quiet location. Both the futon and king bed slept comfortably, shower was hot with plenty of good towels. Host was very accommodating and easy to communicate with.

Beautiful little cabin!

We came out here to Star gaze. This cabin is so cute. It’s very well decorated. They have everything you could possibly need and more. It was perfect for our short stay.

Cozy stop on our way thru Clayton

This was our second stay due to such a great experience the first time. They clearly care about their guests. Wish we could copy-paste this cabin and experience to other places on our roadtrips!

Cozy Clayton cabin

We needed a last minute place for one night in Clayton and not only were we glad to find anything at all, we were pleasantly surprised to have such a cute and cozy place. Only downside was we couldn't stay longer.

Great Cabin

The pictures are accurate, but somehow don’t do the cabin justice. It’s so nice, clean, comfortable, and the host was very communicative. We loved our stay there - in fact my husband said it might be his favorite VRBO/Airbnb yet. The extra details in the cabin were supposed thoughtful! Like snacks and water. My only regret was getting there late when we only booked one night on a road trip.
