Cozy 2-bedroom cabin in Texas Panhandle

Cozy 2-bedroom cabin in Texas Panhandle

10/10 Excellent
"Very nice cabin! Clean and well stocked with everything you might need. Host was responsive and pets are welcome, though you are understandably asked not to leave them unsupervised (no problem.) Beautiful sunsets and sunrises. The first couple of nights we were amazed by the sky lit up by shooting stars. The next couple of nights we had rowdy storms that were actually almost as fun to watch while cozy on the porch or in the cabin. It is remote, with Boise City or Dalhart being the closest decent sized towns that I am aware of with services (so plan accordingly.) Texline is only 12 or so miles away but is pretty small with limited services. Please have a useable spare tire in your trunk, just in case. Don't ask me how I know this, that's a story for another day (preferably one that's not 103 degrees.) Again, remote with lesser driven roads. Some cattle visited us 3-4 times grazing in the fenced off pasture. They were fun to watch (although that brown and white one kept giving me dirty looks!) We will be back and I would recommend this for those who would truly appreciate some peace, quiet, a place to relax, read etc."
