kitchen provided. Pool, horseback rides, fishing, campfire (bring lawn chairs), outdoor games, wade in the creek, walking trails close by. Local restaurants and attractions listed in the cabin.

Few of the things that I love capturing are stunning reflections, colors, landscapes and skylines. I returned to this park almost after three years and wasn't disappointed at all. Rocky gap State Park is located in Western Maryland, 2 hours drive from Baltimore. The fall colors have not peaked in this part of Maryland yet, but likely they will in the next one week. Birthday weekend

We stayed for my 50th birthday. It was the beginning of March and weather was decent but this place offered things to do in the cold or warmth. We enjoyed the fire pit outback and used the grill for dinner one night. The creek running behind us had the kids entertained too!
