The croissants were not available and the pastries were not fresh. Coffee was insipid. The bar was not always staffed during opening times.

Great location in wells, ample parking outside the pub. Excellent and helpful staff. Clean and cool room (great air conditioning in this weather).. There was a pub quiz in the evening, great food, and the breakfast was wholesome and hearty’ The only issue was the smell from the bathroom (likely the sewage).

The manor us a bit dated but the front desk staff were lovely which made up for the decor. Reasonable price and hearty food. Walking distance to beach.
