Lovely location
We thorough enjoyed our stay at this cottage. The views are breathtaking and the home was clean, comfortable and well appointed. Short drive into town made everything easy!

Herrliche Aussicht
Tolles und extrem sauberes Cottage, spektakuläre Aussicht über das Moor bis zum Meer. Für einen Ausflug nach Clifden (tolle Pubs mit Live-Musik) braucht man allerdings das Auto. Unangenehm war, dass bei unserer Ankunft die Heizung aus war und innen einstellige Temperaturen herrschten. Ansonsten alles tiptop, sehr empfehlenswert.

Die Abwicklung ist sehr anonym, bei Privaten Anbietern findet eine freundliche Kommunikation statt. Der Trockner war nicht gesäubert, auch das Kondenswasser nicht entleert. Der Kondensator, wo kein Wasser rein darf, war voll. Die Waschmaschine dreckig, insbesondere das Waschmittelfach . Gewaschene Wäsche roch nicht gut. Wenn man den Geschirrspüler genutzt hat, lief das Wasser in dem Spülbecken hoch. Somit war man gezwungen dabei zu bleiben . Keine Information für die Mülltrennung, was kommt wo rein. Haus war nicht vorgewärmt, kaltes Haus. Im Obergeschoss, befinden sich zwei Räume, die nicht erwähnt werden und verschlossen sind, macht eine komische Atmosphäre. Vorm Hintereingang ein Eimer und Mop mit dreckigen Putzwasser. Die Betten sind super, bis auf die zwei getrennten Betten, da spürte meine Tochter die Federn sehr. Wenn ich ein Haus buche und zwölf Tage verbleibe, warum bekomme ich nur ein Geschirrtuch? Die Internetverbindung war super, der Kamin zog gut ab. Was wir auch gut fanden, ein Smart TV war auch vorhanden, welcher auch gut funktioniert. Es benötigt vielleicht ein bisschen mehr Aufmerksamkeit und Liebe zum Detail. Kann man machen, sind es aber durch privat Anbieter anders gewohnt.

Dear Jens, Thank you for your review and feedback on your stay. We are sorry that the dryer and washing machine had not been checked, these have since been checked and rectified. We have a plumber looking into the issue with dishwasher and thank you for bringing this to our attention. We do email digital guides in advance of guests arrival with detailed instructions in regards to items in the house including the heating, Wi-Fi and waste separation. Yes that is correct there are two rooms upstairs that are not advertised in the cottage description as they are used as storage space. Had you made contact with ourselves or the caretaker we could have provided more tea towels and we apologise that you only received one, this is not the norm. Bon séjour dans le Connémara
Beau cottage pour 4 personnes à proximité de tous les sites du Connémara; nous y avons également fait le superbe Connemara golf links; quelques ondées mais cela fait partie de la visite du Connémara!!!
