The Bantry Bay Aparthotel by Totalstay

"The aparthotel is located 1 street back from the beach, its close to the main street with shops, bars, cafes, restaurants. The area is safe and quiet. Its easy to walk to places like beach and shops. My check in was quick and easy and my queries were answered quickly and fully. I had a nice friendly welcome. The room (Penthouse) is large, plenty of space, the views are fantastic - ocean to front, mountain to rear. The kitchen has a hob and microwave and a fridge. I did self-catering and it worked great. The living area is lovely, comfortable, great view. The extra bonus is my room had a patio to the rear! The bedroom is spacious, airy, lovely view, big bed. Big bathroom with walk in shower and a proper bath tub and plenty of space. I slept very well! The apartment is cleaned regularly and they change towels and bedding too. There is a small outdoor pool, a bar and there is onsite restaurant for breakfast & lunch. Parking is onsite and secure, I had a VW Polo and this fitted fine, some of the spaces would be tight for a large car or a full size SUV. This is a great location for a nice quiet base for exploring and for relaxing...."

"We had a wonderful stay at Camps Bay Retreat! The staff were warm, friendly, and welcoming throughout our visit. Our room looked exactly as pictured, and the views around the property were absolutely beautiful. The food was also a highlight—breakfast was delicious, and we especially loved the afternoon tea and scones. Everything about our stay was relaxing and enjoyable. We would definitely recommend Camps Bay Retreat!"

"Service was excellent. The criticisms were yoga was advertised but not offered due to season. Toilets do not flush well due to design, but not any fault of hotel. Current construction required extended entrance/exit out main door to access beach area instead of the shorter path gate. We found current bath/shower design modern but not very functional or ergonomic. Difficult ingress/egress and water spray from shower not easily contained."

South Beach Camps Bay Boutique Hotel

"Lovely hotel at the South end of Camps Bay with easy access to the promenade and shops. Bit of confusion prior to our stay receiving emails asking us to pay for other peoples bookings but we got there in the end! We arrived far too early for check in (sorry can’t control what time flights get in!) but the woman on reception said she would whatsapp us when it was ready. She didn’t. Went back just after 2pm (check in time) so there wasn’t any qualms. We had the penthouse which was great complete with its own mini pool (although too cold to use when we stayed). Breakfast is a do it yourself job with provisions left in the fridge. Nice thought but didn’t use them; i don’t go away on holiday to cook my own breakfast! Bed was comfy, lovely heated floor in the bathroom, nice jacuzzi bath but didn’t have time to use that. Enjoyed our complimentary drinks on our last night. Everyone was pleasant and helpful."

"Amazing property with amazing staff. Can’t recommend enough. 8 mins walk into camps bay; yes it’s a hill but think of it as your steps for the day plus you get the views of the bay as you drop down. Breakfast really fab plus pool area lovely. 5 stars to all the staff there"

"We had a wonderful stay at Morea House. Across the board, a wonderful experience - to the entire staff from check in, to the bar men, Denzel and Thabo, to the restaurant staff, to the spa staff especially Thandie, the dining staff, to the doormen and all other staff that made our stay the experience it was, THANK YOU. Then add the above to the Morea’s stunning location over looking Camps Bay beach with the mountains in the back ground!! We are looking forward to staying at Morea again when we are back in CT."
