"We had a great stay at Beach Front Motel Napier. The room size was fantastic, and the balcony view looking straight out over the beach and the kids' playground was a real highlight. The spa bath was another huge bonus—we happily indulged twice during our visit! Check-in is handled next door at Shoreline Motel, as both properties share the same owners. There was a bit of a queue when we arrived, but the service was fast and friendly once we reached the desk. The property and rooms are definitely looking a bit tired and worn. The walls aren't soundproofed, so you do pick up some noise, and our entry door needs attention as it doesn't line up with the frame or close flush. That said, at the current rate it offers fantastic value for money, and I’d definitely stay again at these prices. If rates went up, though, I’m not sure the value would stack up against neighbouring motels that offer similar layouts and ocean views in fresher condition. Overall, a solid, budget-friendly spot for a beachfront getaway."

"The room was wonderful, so beautiful - the whole building is lovely. We were only going to stay one night but a few hours after checking in we decided to stay another night. Staff (particularly Victor on the front desk ) was so great - nothing was a problem he was kind, helpful and very professional without being stiff - we were made to feel like valued guests even though this was the first time we have stayed there. we will be back and we have told our friends how wonderful the hotel is."

"Large clean and tidy room. The really annoying issue was the hot water did not run hot enough to run 2 baths. Great location right on the wharf and one could walk to a great selection of cafes. Bars and restaurants. Would definitely stay again. Sorry to the reception guy for interrupting your game."
