"This motel was very quiet and peaceful – that's a big deal for me. It's within short walking distance of the main shopping area in Taradale, which has many bakeries, cafes, bars and restaurants. The staff of the motel were very friendly and they gave us a free upgrade to a two-roomed unit – that was VERY kind – it blew us away."

Napier is a beautiful town. Well worth booking in for one of the Art Deco Tours - either walking or chauffeured in one of the 1930's motor vehicles. Mission Estate winery is not far from town, for tastings and a restaurant.

Excellent clean quiet town with best range of art deco buildings. View from the Bluff worth the effort, as is walk round botanical gardens and right along the seafront.

Loved Napier. Took the kids to the pools, which were a bit expensive, for a public pool. Loved the Aquarium, and the fact that you get an all day pass, so you can go out and come back.
