Napier is a beautiful town. Well worth booking in for one of the Art Deco Tours - either walking or chauffeured in one of the 1930's motor vehicles. Mission Estate winery is not far from town, for tastings and a restaurant.

Excellent clean quiet town with best range of art deco buildings. View from the Bluff worth the effort, as is walk round botanical gardens and right along the seafront.

We were there for the Art Deco Festival. We had a wonderful time. Also enjoyed visits to nearby wineries and the gannet colony overland tour.

A lot of positive development has occurred in the Napier region. They have however, successfully maintained that Art Deco vibe and ambience. Keeping it a wonderful place to visit

Great artsy spot with a free museum that was quite lovely. Nice beach walk, aquarium, lots of dining options. Pretty little town.

Loved Napier. Took the kids to the pools, which were a bit expensive, for a public pool. Loved the Aquarium, and the fact that you get an all day pass, so you can go out and come back.
