This is a homely, friendly hotel with a nice ambience and feel to it. There is attention to detail- clean well-appointed room, comfortable bed, dependable free wifi, nice restaurant with good food and a friendly staff. And its right in the heart of town (free car parking). One small niggle-while there are plenty of lights in the room, there is no light comfortable for reading with.

Very picturesque setting with abbey ruins on property to explore. Breakfast buffet was very ample. Bar menu was fantastic (best salmon I've ever eaten anywhere in my travels; desserts were scrumptious). Athletic facilities with pool on site as well.

I just love this Hotel.I love its location opposite the beautiful bay.Seriously a great place to unwind and get away from the hustle and bustle of surbubian life.Perfect for those evening walks with my husband. After 40 years I feel like this is out time to pack a bag and take a trip.Due to health reasons we dont go abroad too often. So the Hodson Bay meets all our needs.
