"Not the best room I've stayed in, right next to the swimming pool. Food was good but the menu was very limited. Overpriced for what we got"

"Terrible experience on both Expedia and the hotel. I booked a room, did the pre-checking online after expedia sends me a messague. When I go to the hotel around 6.30 p.m. the guy at reception casually tells me that they cannot accommodate me because they had an issue with my room. That's it. On top of that; the person at reception tells me as if it helps that they contacted Expedia at 5p.m. which then when I called Expedia hours later after doing my own arrangements was not True. Horrible communication on both parts. No apologies, no solutions other than calling Expedia for nothing as they were not even aware of the situation. Then they have the audacity to call me at almost midnight after our call dropped 5 hours earlier."

"We arrived after booking price of 157 pounds half board one night got there and had to pay 20 pounds for dog . . We checked our room no toilet seat lid discovered we had been put in the disabled room .wasn't happy . The main door that let us in to the building wouldn't lock so anyone could get in . We checked the pool out about 18.30 was due to close but on inspection the hot tub didn't work . I must say though the bar was good and food was fab . Not rushing back though ."

"I really struggling to work in my room, access my phone and then the Tv with the WIFI; it was hopeless. Mentioned to reception on Wed evening, all seems ok was response and the againon checkout. For a hotel I use for business, good wifi is essential - if this continues i will need to find another hotel whilst in Dudley area"

"We went past this hotel a few times trying to find it. No one had informed us that the hotel had changed it name. It was only the fact that the satnav lead us there and went into see if I had the right place. There seemed to be a communication lacking between hotel.com and the hotel"
