Super vibrant hotel You could sit in the lobby and watch everyone coming and going it’s a very vibrant hotel nice gym pool Starbucks in the lobby which gives a lovely smell of coffee being ground all day long Sports bar etc

Nice modern clean room with coffee and tea facilities, TV worked which is rare! Bathroom clean with walk in shower that was nice and powerful. Sleep was great, bed and 2 pillows each was very comfortable and no late night noise :-)

The room was great. I left my hat there unfortunately. That wasn't the hotel's fault though, obviously. The TV didn't work either but I didn't stay in the room much so no big deal. Hotel might want to check it though.

Overnight wedding stay

We stayed at the hotel for a night for a wedding, we received a very warm and friendly welcome the staff on reception was very helpful. The bar staff and the staff that served us during the wedding breakfast were very professional and polite and really accomadating. The room was really clean and tidy and we had a very pleasant stay we would definitely recommend the hotel and we would love to stay again in the future.

Room was clean but rather bare, like a sofa had been removed. Staff were friendly and helpful. Self check-in didn't make it clear that parking was free at the weekend; we paid £5, but was able to get it cancelled when we checked out.

We were unaware that we needed to put out the orange card for room service, which was disappointing. I was impressed that there was an espresso machine in the room and the breakfast was impressive, although I found it particularly rude to begin removing pastries, juices et cetera while we were still eating on our last morning. The hotel is in walking distance of the main attractions, and it has a good pool area although the water in the hot tubs was not hot! Locally farmed sausages would be an improvement with higher meat content and the orange juice wasn’t great. Lovely patisserie items and great coffee!

I had a short, but nice stay at the Village Hotel. The room was nice and clean and the staff was extremely nice. I flew in from the US and brought the wrong type of voltage adapter with me. The gentleman at the front desk was kind enough to lend me a cell phone charger, which really saved the day. Great hotel!
