"Property is good,rooms is 7 from 10,AC not enough makes cooling,not every where some of them,cleaning in the room is good bar is good some alcohol maybe pay extra money if you're not VIP customer.Beach near Akumal Hotel is good and quiet water especially it's good for small kids no waves."

"We LOVED it here! The room was gorgeous and very clean. The staff was wonderful. I cant say enough good things. We loved sitting on our balcony watching the waves in the bay. The only advice I have for travelers is that theres not a lot of restaurants within easy walking distance (when its 95° I didnt want to walk too far) so be prepared to bring some food or get tuk-tuks to get some variety. The Buena Vida restaurant next door is wonderful though! We loved everything we got there (and we ate there almost every day!)"

"Beautiful property, rooms were very nice and modern, the AC however was struggling to keep up in the room, as well as in the buffets and the specialty restaurants. The lazy river was awesome, the coffee shop was agreat addition. The property had a lot of wildlife from coatis to raccoons and monkeys. The two pools were nice, but some of the tiles were missing. We really enjoyed the pool surrounded by trees as it was offering shade from the sun. The other pool closed to the breakfast buffet and the steakhouse restaurant was really exposed to the sun, on the other side it had a nice bar. The beach was nice but there were a lot of seaweeds, even though they were cleaning it every morning. On the bright side there was a little cove that had a lot of fish swimming. There are two hotels in the resort, one of them was being renovated, there was some noise but did not bothered us. Staff was very friendly."
