"We had a beautiful ocean front room which was great. The staff were all very nice and helpful. Reception helped arrange several taxis for us. The restaurant food and breakfast is very nice and the location is perfect. Would definitely recommend."

"It’s a spectacular family friendly hotel in the heart of Tulum. Tulum doesn’t have big all inclusive resorts so the little extras at La Zebra make it special. A terrific restaurant over looking the water, a basic mini golf course on the roof kept my son entertained, a small pool to refresh in and multiple beach side bars with great waiter service made relaxing at the beach the best. Beautiful room with small plunge pool to unwind each afternoon. Finally in a quiet area but literally steps from Michelin restaurants, a special place that I highly recommend for couples and families."

"I would love to give a glowing review of this place - the room was nice and spacious, it was serene being surrounded by nature, servers and spa workers were great. - However - I booked on Expedia, paid the vast majority of the price at time of booking, and upon my departure realized that the hotel charged me the full amount again (plus incidentals of course). I understand mistakes happen, but once I made them aware of this they threw up their hands and put the responsibility on me to dispute with Expedia. It’s a real quick way to ruin a whole vacation on the way out. I did put in a dispute with Expedia and my credit card. They have since informed me that I will get a refund, probably only after these two put them on notice. No one has informed me of what went wrong to make this happen. Overall, the operation was done very well, and I will eventually get my money back, so redeemed to three stars. But I still can’t ignore that there are some workflow issues in how they coordinate or don’t coordinate payments with Expedia."

"My husband and I stayed here for 6 nights for our honeymoon and had the most incredible time. I would suggest this hotel to anyone wanting to stay in Tulum! We were on the all-inclusive package and had the best food in our entire lives. All of the staff members were so kind, friendly, and knew our orders by the end of the trip! The rooms were very clean, the pool was beautiful, and the front desk staff helped us with nearby recommendations and rentals! There is a main strip in Tulum with lots of restaurants, hotels, and shops; Mi Amor is just on the other side tucked away into the nature reserve. This is perfect for people who want to enjoy the bustling, busy streets - then go away and rest at your hotel. At Mi Amor, you HAVE to have the tempura shrimp tacos and guac! My biggest recommendation would be to rent a Vespa - once we had this, everything was a 15-minute ride or less to everywhere we wanted to visit. PRO TIP: Mi Amor has sister hotels nearby that you can visit and use their amenities too! Nevana Luxury Villas has the most incredible pool I have ever been to in my life. 1000000/10 would stay at Mi Amor again!"
