"This Villa was amazing! The only cons: beach not easily walkable due to huge turtle pits where they lay their eggs but on the flipside seeing baby turtles and releasing them into the ocean is a once in a lifetime experience. The other con is the road to the Villa. It is a very long way down the road to Villa Arghy and the road is bumpy and full of holes. It is a dirt road, not paved and when I say bumpy I mean it moves all your insides around...for real. Beware if you are pregnant. Everything else was great! It was nice having Rosa and Moises right out front. Felt completely safe and they took care of all our needs and kept the Villa clean. We did not experience any of the scams we read about and everyone we encountered in Mexico was nice and friendly and helpful. Kitchen fully stocked. Amazing views! Books, videos and games. Rooftop terrace. Beautiful sunrises. I was surprised to see so much litter on the dirt road. With all the beautiful Villas and their immaculate grounds (ours was) I was surprised that the cleanliness of the road area was not better. Overall, I would stay here again. "

"We had a wonderful time at Casa Tortuga! Perfect location and space for our 10 guests ranging from ages 15-45. Samuel and Marisola are angels from heaven that made our stay very memorable and special!! We celebrated my daughter’s birthday and had great family connection time. Every meal was delicious and the housekeeping made it a very relaxing trip!There are many nearby Cenotes and ruins that are worth visiting.We will definitely come back but not in sargasso season! "

"Furniture was falling apart (dining chair) and broke upon sitting down. Was wobbly and could tell it was repaired using a nail that wasn’t meant for that chair. Communication was horrible, check in was a disaster, nobody knew what was going on and couldn’t find our booking. The property itself was beautiful, pools were nice , although not kept up with cleaning, especially the one nearest to the beach. Tons of dirt and dead bugs in the pool. Nice enough, but given everything else, I wouldn’t stay here again. "
